| How Do We Treat The Word? When we treat the Words of God with respect, and hold them in high esteem, then that's how we will get God's approval, and be promoted. When we disrespect the Words of God, or the Word of God, we grieve His Holy Spirit. I heard Kenneth Copeland say that "It's not how you treat circumstances, and people, it's how you treat the Word that gets you promoted." He goes, "That was for someone." And I go, yeah, it was for me. But, if we treat the Word with respect, we will treat people with respect automatically, won't we? The Word will teach, or train us to treat circumstances how we should. Have I been treating the Word with respect concerning my finances? Or have I been secretly wondering if God will take care of me financially. Ouch! If the Word is true on health, emotional well being, and mental well being, and getting and obtaining healing, peace, and wisdom, then it logically stands to reason that the Word would be true on finances. It would make no sense if the Word was true for my body, my mind, and my emotions, but I only get wilderness living on my finances. So, it can't be God Who is missing it, it has to be me. I have to handle the Word correctly to get it to work correctly. I have to hold a high respect for the Word to obtain God's approval on my life. Eph 3:20 says, The action of His Power that is at work within me is able to carry out His purpose, and do super-abundantly, exceedingly, excessively, far and above ALL I can dare ask or THINK, infinitely beyond my highest prayers, desires, THOUGHTS, hopes, or dreams. v21 then says, To Him Be The Glory!!! Now I can think and dream and plan A LOT! It doesn't say He will do just only what I can think or dream or ask, but that He will go waaaaaaaay beyond what I can think, dream, or ask. That could be ten times, or 1,000 percent! Is the Word true or is God a huge liar? I have found the Word to be true in every area I have stood on, and refused to back off, and I have every reason to believe this scripture is true. 2005 © No Fear Here Devotional – Caroline Alderson March 12, 2005

Until the life of the Christian is so obviously different from the life of the sinner, why should the sinner want what the Christian has? CF Staff is doing a wonderful Job! - Janny Grein |
