Reps: 4,638 (power: 17) | | Hi all!
OK, here goes...
1) 1968's The Lion in Winter with Peter O'Toole , Katherine Hepburn , Sir Anthony Hopkins & Timothy Dalton. (How can you possibly go wrong with a cast like this?) See http://efilmcritic.com/review.php?movie=1842 . It got Katherine Hepburn her 3rd Best Actress Oscar & also won Oscars for Best Screenplay & Best Score. (It was nominated for four other Oscars, including Best Film & Best Actor for O'Toole.)
2) 1975's The Man Who Would Be King with Sean Connery, Michael Caine & Christopher Plummer. See http://efilmcritic.com/review.php?movie=5734 .
3) 2000's Billy Elliot.
4) 1995's Jerry Maguire. Show me the money!
5) 1985's Lady Jane. See http://www.livinghistory.co.uk/homep...Jthemovie.html . John: It's not so hard. Try saying after me; John wins, I lose. Richard: What if John died? John: What's that? Richard: What if he left us suddenly? John:You wouldn't dare. Richard: (going for his dagger) Why on earth wouldn't I? John: A knife! He's got a knife! Eleanor of Aquitaine: Of course he has a knife. He always has a knife. We all have knives. It's 1183 and we're barbarians. How clear we make it. Oh, my piglets, we're the origins of war. Not history's forces nor the times nor justice nor the lack of it nor causes nor religions nor ideas nor kinds of government nor any other thing! We are the killers; we breed war. We carry it, like syphilis, inside. Dead bodies rot in field and stream because the living ones are rotten. For the love of God, can't we love each other just a little? That's how peace begins. We have so much to love each other for. We have such possibilities, my children; we could change the world.
The foregoing is an excerpt from The Lion in Winter. Richard (young Richard Lionheart is played by Anthony Hopkins. John (young King John, Richard's younger brother) is played by Nigel Terry. Eleanor of Aquitaine (their mother) is played by Katherine Hepburn.
Be well!

Reps: 9 (power: 0) | | Top 5? Impossible. I'll just have to lump some together
1a. A Case for Song: Elvis Costello Live
1b. Coen Brothers movies: Raising Arizona, The Big Lebowski, Fargo, O Brother Where Art Thou, The Man Who Wasn't There
2. Indiana Jones movies: Raiders of the Lost Ark, IJ & the Holy Grail (or whatever it was called, with sean Connery)
3. Mystery Science Theatre 3000 - any & all (ok, so it's a TV show, but they riff on movies, so I've gotta call it good.)
4. Ben Stiller movies: Mystery Men, Zoolander, There's Something About Mary, Meet the Parents (yes, his movies are largely ridiculous, which is what's so great about 'em - and he can get just about anyone to participate - check out who's in Zoolander - even Bowie's in it!)
5. Julia Roberts movies - gotta have my chick flicks
