Gods Arm?

Scripture speaks of God stretching out the heavens with His hand. While on one level this is clearly metaphorical, since God doesn't have an arm or hand,
How do you know that God dosn't have a arm or hand.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

God is spirit. This is said repeatedly in the Bible. Only by the Incarnation did God have arms or a body.  The Bible sometimes speaks of God anthropormorphically.  It ascribes human characteristics to Him so that we can related to Him and understand Him better.  Eg. when it says He repented from destroying people, He didn't, He knew what He would do all along, it's just describing the way He deals with us in a way we can understand.
