Reps: 876 (power: 0) | | | Jan Crouch I didn't really have anything to say.
I just felt she needed her own thread too.
Personally I can understand why "the world" can look at her apperance and judge her for hair color, clothes, etc.
But I also think "the world" is being a bit unfair.
If she was a non-Christian celebrity, people would admire her wackiness and how little she cares what you think about her.
Kind of like Tammy Faye. People made fun of her for years. Then when she made herself a secular figure, she got millions of adoring fans. Movies were made about her ("The Eyes of Tammy Faye") and whatnot. |

Actually she'd have a worse time
Instead of just being slammed by christians, she'd get slammed by the whole world... The one or two pictures I've seen of her, she seems to have an 80s thing going with her hair... That wouldnt sit well in a secular media that judges celebreties on how up to date, or not they are

Maybe because you're from New Zealand, you don't really have an understanding of the American affinity for the wacky and bizarre.
People love Tammy Faye, if only as a figure of great interest.
And she looks much more outlandish than Jan ever could.
Here she is on Larry King |

But that's her updated style! She used to have that funky hair thing going on too!

Reps: 2,116 (power: 9) | | | I know that Janice Crouch had a bout with cancer. Is that why she wears that wig? Or, has she always worn it?
Yours truly in Christ, sojourner

I vaguely remember her saying in the 90's that she wears a wig because of a fire. Originally Posted by charityagape I don't know much about the Crouches, but I have continually and unceasingly heard criticism about Jan Crouch (from the church) based on her appearance. That's nuts.

Reps: 876 (power: 0) | | | What does the Bible (or let alone Jesus) say about judging people by appearances though?
