No guilt of life, no fear of death This is the power of Christ in me
From life’s first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
‘Til He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand |

I have felt that way, sometimes. It's the main reason why I've kept the label "Christian" over the years. |

I have a question for one and all, besides other Abrahamic faiths, which faith are you, Liberal Christians, most interested in (and don't worry I will not be offended if it isn't mine) in any way shape or form?
P.S. I confess that I did come here to increase my post count to finally have ten posts to my name, but my question (And interest) still stands. |

With all due respect, I cannot be friends with someone who isn't here physically, so no I am not a friend of Jesus. I never met Jesus physically, so I could never establish a close friendship or at best we never had a long distant communication/relationship to where I at least could hear his voice or talk via the internet, so again, I am not a friend of Jesus.
Yet I do believe there are positive and good things found in the New Testament that are attributed to Jesus from the authors of the Gospels that one can apply to their lives and have a good life with.
