I usually hike down to the creek when i'm at my uncles when we visit him in Santa Cruz. It's roughly a mile each way not including how far you hike down the creek once you get there.

What is literal about poetry is that God did it, and because God created, the creation has meaning. When we insist, as some do, that the creation account be turned into a science of the origins of the world, we lose the heart and soul of the poetic message and turn a liberating imaginative poem into a dry intellectual fact that must be affirmed scientifically. This deadens truth."

Yeah i like to but dont get much of a chance. My biggest hike is the Tongariro Crossing and i did not even go to the Sumit i took a Grueling 9 hours to do.
What is everyone else longest hike or hardest hike
we just went up to the north shore of minnesota recently, along lake superior. that was a lot of fun. beautiful up there along the baptism river, i'd recommend seeing the two step and high falls if you're ever in the area!
I love hiking, especially when it involves overnight trips. The longest I've done was about 50 mi. in the Great Smokey Mountains. I live in the Uwharrie Mountains and have endless hiking opportunities and go as much as I can. If anyone is in NC I highly recommend the area.
It wasn't very difficult though, not a very steep hill. It really beat the other girls that took the hike, they were totally drained lol. I'm fit for that type of stuff so it didn't affect me at all.
