Apple Crisp

This is a good recipe for anytime. Especially if you don't like the hassle of making an apple pie.

3 or 4 large apples
3/4 C oatmeal
3/4 C brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 stick melted butter or margarine
1/2 C flour

Peel & cut apples and put in a pie pan or baking dish.
Combine all other ingredients and sprinkle on top of apples.
Bake at 350º for 35 min.

(I prefer to double the ingredients for the topping)

my grandma makes this stuff its good with ice cream!

My sister makes this recipe very good but sweet to me.

I use this recipe too, excpt that I add vanilla to the butter. I love vanilla:p

I use a teaspoon. My recipe calls for 1/2 a tsp, but I almost always double the vanilla in my recipes. Use the real stuff too. mmmmm....

Ok so what if this is an old thread.

vanilla's good stuff you can get wired on it though, like coffee... not that I would know hehe

It put cloves in all my baked apple stuffs... including apple crisp

i have only one problem with apple crisp - there's never enough

mmm, this sounds like a yummy recipe, I'm sooo hungry right now which doesn't help, I will have to bake it for my dad sometime (since my boyfriend is too picky and doesn't eat anything I cook) Thanks!
