Umm, John, unlike food, science is not judged on the popular opinion of the masses.

Reps: 15 (power: 0) | | | Science won't wipe Christianity off the Earth it will just convince some into there being no God. While others will listen to the Bible and always believe in God. Spiritual awareness is human. |

Reps: 833 (power: 0) | | | Science hasnīt the goal to wipe away religion in general or Christianity in special. If not for advanced physics and chemistry, you wouldnīt sit now behind a computer and communicate via internet. The same physic and chemistry principles, that get denied by the more fundamental Christians.

Reps: 15 (power: 0) | | | I was not taking a fundimentalist view of what I said. I am really saying that people will believe in their own hearts what they regard as truth. Science cannot explain away God and I know it doesn't intend to but some here take it as it should. There is fundimental views in science too as well as religious. |

Who? Anybody from the pro-science side? Or only the creationists?

Reps: 22 (power: 0) | | | Considering that most of science has only been around for a few hundred years, while religion has thousands of years under its belt, I don't think there is any competition.
Science is trying so hard to disprove God and is frustrated, because it can't and never will be able to. If it would only concentrate on important issues, all of us would be so much better off.

We are humans..that is what we do. We ask, "Why, What, Where, When and How"
That takes nothing from the glory of God.
