Pray to the Theotokos, the Mother of Life, that the baby's life will be spared and that Mary will be led to repentance.

these threads are very important but they break my heart each time I read them.

Or Senator Obama’s approach could be followed, whereby prenatal and income support, paid maternity leave and greater access to adoption would be relied upon to reduce the incidence of abortion."

The difference between 'involvement' and 'commitment' is like an eggs-and-ham breakfast: the chicken was 'involved' - the pig was 'committed'. ~~~"~~~ 'Faith is not a once-done act, but a continuous gaze of the heart at the Triune God. Believing, then, is directing the hearts' attention to Jesus. It is lifting the mind to "behold the Lamb of God," and never ceasing that beholding for the rest of our lives.' |

Yes.
Years ago when my oldest daughter was two years old, I bought the most beautiful little 12 inch doll for her.
It was the perfect size to hold in her arms like a real baby and it looked and felt like a newborn.
At the time (1980) the doll was expensive and I didn't have money to throw around.
But I bought it anyway.
The other day my middle pregnant daughter, while reading one of her maternity books, said that her baby was 12 inches long.
My twelve year old daughter ran into her room and got the little doll that had been loved and passed down to each of my daughters.
We just sat there and stared at the doll and held it like the baby it was.
Her unborn child became real to us at that moment. Not that it wasn't real before but something changed right then.
Now I know why I paid 20 dollars for a doll in 1980.
What this has to do with the thread, I'm not sure.
Aria, I'll pray for Mary.

In the dark night of the soul it is always three o clock in the morning, day after day.
