so now we use praying as a cover for teaching that only YECists can be truely saved?

Luk 18:9 And He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt:
Luk 18:10 "Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
Luk 18:11 "The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: 'God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
Luk 18:12 'I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.'
Luk 18:13 "But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, the sinner!'
Luk 18:14 "I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."

Actually, most Christians accept evolution; maybe not in your neck of the woods, but world-wide.

In any case, how many Christians who accept evolution did you interview and how many of them professed to lack peace?

Christians who accept evolution do not deny creation. They believe God created all things, and that in some cases he created via evolution.

Yep. And not once did he claim it would offer us peace. Peace only comes through hearing the Gospel of the New Testament. The Old Testament, by contrast, is law, written to show us our sins. The promise that a Saviour has died for our sins is what brings us peace. Not the creation story found in Genesis. I pray that you would one day grasp this basic tenet of Christianity. It's Sunday School stuff.

That part of science is theoretical and changes based upon man's understanding of things.
Look at what just happened with Pluto for an example of how science works.
It was found and declared to be a planet.
It was taught and believed to be a planet.
A select few scientists have argued for years about what its status should be.
Most people never knew that, just believed it was a planet because that is what all the books said and that is what they were taught.
Now, the scientists have changed their definition of what Pluto is.
All those people who believed it was a planet are now wrong.
That is science.

God made the earth and exactly how He did so is a mystery. He spoke it into being. That is too cool! I don't worry about the details. I just love the Lord.
The definition of a planet is arbitrary. Things like the composition and orbit of Pluto are the same. Nothing has changed but the label.

Look at it like this. What is the difference between warm and hot?
I live in a relatively cold climate and would call anything over 30 C HOT, but someone from Arizona might not even call that warm. So who is wrong? THe guy from Arizona who would say "this aint hot" or me who says "this is very hot " on a day where the temperatur is 33 C?

That sounds familiar, oh yes, Heb 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on.
