Shalom folks! I'm doing a "hangout" check (also known as "pub to pubbing").
Never been in here before.
Like the decor!

I used to hang out here a lot, then got busy with life. (Imagine that.) In case anyone possibly remembers me, I've had my baby--a boy name Daniel. He was born on the first day of Sukkot last fall. He is such a joy, and even with the sleep deprivation, my mommy-heart just melts every time I look into his eyes.
Other than the new baby, we're doing well elsewhere, too. We bought a new house last summer in the same n'hood--got a great deal on a larger house that was being foreclosed. It has a pool and a full basement.
We've been "practicing" homeschooling this year, as DD1 is kindergarten age. Our homeschooling will be "official" this fall when she reaches 1st grade-age. It's a challenge to figure out how to teach DD1 at her level and still keep the younger two entertained. DD2 wants to do everything DD1 does, but she just doesn't know as much yet. It's going to be an awesome adventure, though!
Anyway, just hanging out today and thought I'd drop by to see what everyone's up to. I recognize a few screennames--glad to "see" all of you again!

God's love is not impotent.

"He gave himself up on our behalf in order to free us from all violation of Torah and purify for himself a people who would be his own, eager to do good." --Titus 2:14
head on I meet the conflict between "Judaism" and "Christianity" in a church. A simple conclusion of one in that church is that one must choose this but abandon that. Is Christianity a broad form of Judaism? I nearly have no church to join now.
Shalom, Yusuph Hai
