"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing is worth a war, is worse.
"A man who has nothing which he cares more about than he does his personal safety is a miserable creature who has no chance at being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

It's a little bizarre. Linked to here using the IMG tags, all we see is the "red X of death." However, if you go directly to it, it's there: http://i1.trekearth.com/photos/692/dsc_1237.jpg

Here in fly-over country USA we don't always have good access to things. This year Safeway has done a very good job stocking the shelves They recently put in for everyday stock a fair supply of kosher items. For Passover this year they even stocked kosher turkey. But my favorite is chocloate covered marshmallows (darn I didn't get there before the regular marshmallows were gone!)

Some good news, I gave a small donation of my money to my husband to give to the poor in Pakistan and he increased the amount x60 and it will be given to the earthquake victims amoung others who don't have enough to eat... also pray for the hearts and minds of pakistanis as manymany come from the lost tribes...you will find more magen davids in pakistan than israel Lastly my husband just arrived to canada for a friends wedding so I am little sad about that and lastly lastly in recent months President Musharraf recognised Israel's right to exist
BTW, just a note on the earthquake victims, the earthquake occured in a region where it is mostly populated by lost tribe members of B'nai Yisrael.
