Anyone have any thoughts?

We simply use the 'fish' symbol to denote we are followers of christ as we do not use religious iconagraphy in the chapel.

I'm good with that too.
Are you an artist as well as a seamstress..er, tailor?
I know some time ago there was some attempts at dove art that weren't too successful.

It is a symbol that reminds us of God, His peace that the world fails to understand, that He is not chained into mans thinking and ways of ordering this world.
God used the symbol of the Dove when the world said abandon all Hope in Him to remind the world He KEEPS His word.
The cross whilst essential for me will always be the symbol of the barberism of Rome, it is an instrument of degrading torture that Christ bore for our salvation but Christ is ALIVE vibrantly alive. His word travels across countires and to those who have heard it not.
The semiotic meaning of a simplfied dove is great in its simplicity.
