I can relate Gordon:
The Christian Book Store is like a candy store to me.
Although my mind would not be able to grasp so many books at one time.
For now, I have decided not to buy another book until I have read what I already have.

My husband thinks that my expenditures at a Christian bookstore should be tax deductible.

Show me a man who trusts his own righteousness, obedience, devotion, feelings, or anything else of his own, and I will show you a man to whom the blood and righteousness of Christ is worthless. Don Fortner
It often surprises people to learn that God is not always pleased when people worship him. We might be inclined to think that God should be thankful for any attention we give him out of our busy schedules. But worship is not about God's thanking us; it is about our thanking him. And God is not pleased with just anything we choose to do in his presence. The mighty Lord of heaven and earth demands that our worship-indeed, all of life-be governed by his word.
John M. Frame
The Bible will give Christ to you in an intimacy so close that he would be less visible to you if he stood before your eyes.

I don't know what kind of response this thread will get or if it will maybe qualify for a "sticky" but I thought it would be good to share what we are reading ?
I am currently reading:
Judgement and Promise: An Interpretation of the book of Jeremiah by J.G. McConville and
Covenant and Sacrifice in the Letter to the Hebrews by John Dunnill.
well, currently i'm reading the Bible... and Every Young Man's Battle < which is pretty good
I'm currently reading a book titled: No More Christian Nice Guy by Paul Coughlin. He writes basically that many Christian men are too nice and let themselves get walked on for no good reason. Coughlin also says that men should be Christian Good Guys that stand up for what is right. I would recommend this book to any Christian man.
I've been reading some from "Letters to a Daughter" by a Reformed man whose name I can't currently remember and "The Quest for Character," a new one by John MacArthur.
