Faith Breakthrough



And the power of the Lord was present to heal them. (Luke 5:17)


When faith breaks through, you glorify God, have power and boldness, and are empowered.


Four men had a literal breakthrough of faith:


"As [Jesus] was teaching, there were Pharisees and teachers of the Law sitting by, out of every town of Galilee, Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them. Then men brought on


a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him. And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus. When He saw their faith, He said to him, ‘man, your sins are forgiven you.' And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason. ... He said to the man who was paralyzed, ‘I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.' Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. And they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, ‘We have seen strange things today!'" (Emphasis mine).


Christ was in a house crowded with people, believers and unbelievers alike. Many had physical troubles, and "the power of the Lord was present to heal them"; but none of these religious people were healed. Then four men brought a paralyzed man on a stretcher, and because they could not get through the crowd they went up the outside stairs of the flat-roofed house, pulled apart the coverings and lowered the man down right in front of Jesus. Seeing their faith, He restored this man to health. It was a double breakthrough. They (physically) broke through the roof, and they (spiritually) broke through the unbelief of the crowd, which had kept them back from Christ. "They were all amazed ... and were filled with fear." Fear is one of Satan's favorite tricks to try to undermine miracles. It is also possible to lose your healing if you allow unbelief to undermine what God has done. But when faith breaks through, it causes you to glorify God, it brings a power, a certainty, a boldness that enables you to withstand fear and unbelief, and empowers you to be a stronger witness than ever before.

7Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land.” And there he built an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him.

I don’t know about you, but I am not satisfied with just knowing that I am righteous by faith. I also want to get to know the One who made me righteous. I want to have an intimate relationship with my Savior!

Abraham was such a man. He was righteous by faith, but he also had a close walk with God and was blessed by God in all things. (Genesis 24:1) His nephew Lot, on the other hand, although righteous too (2 Peter 2:7–8), had no heart for God. He ended up losing a lot when Sodom, the city he dwelt in, was destroyed along with Gomorrah. He was saved by the skin of his teeth!

My friend, do you want to be a Christian like Lot, righteous but always finding yourself in trouble, or do you want to be a righteous-and-blessed Christian like Abraham? Then, like Abraham, have a heart for God.

From place to place, Abraham would build an altar to the Lord. And in between altars, he grew very rich! (Genesis 13:2) There is no biblical record, however, of Lot ever building an altar to the Lord.

What is an “altar” in today’s context? It is a place where you know that you have a close relationship with God. For example, when my late father was in the hospital, I was worried and did not know what to do. I remember driving down the road and crying. After a while, I just threw my cares to the Lord. When I reached the hospital, I just laid my hands on my father and said, “Be healed in Jesus’ name.” And he was healed!

Till today, I can remember the place where I had cast my cares to the Lord and leaned on His love for me. That is my “altar”. And it is not the only one.

We have got to have this kind of relationship with God, one full of “altars” that remind us of His love, goodness and faithfulness. Let’s not live the Christian life like Lot, saved by the skin of our teeth. Let’s walk closely with God as Abraham did, and be richly blessed in every area of our lives!

By Jesus’ Stripes You Are Healed


Isaiah 53:5
5… The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

You know, one of the biggest outcries against Mel Gibson’s movie, The Passion Of The Christ, was that it was too violent, especially the part where Jesus was scourged.

Let me tell you this: It was not violent enough! The Bible says that at the cross, Jesus’ visage was marred beyond that of any man. (Isaiah 52:14) In the movie, even after all the beatings, the actor James Caviezel, who played Jesus, still looked quite handsome.

But the reality is that when Jesus hung on the cross, He had “no form or comeliness… there is no beauty that we should desire Him”. (Isaiah 53:2) He was beaten to a pulp until His face looked like jelly hanging out!

In the movie, when they scourged Him, only a small portion of His bones was exposed, so it was still quite tidy. But the messianic psalms say, “The plowers plowed on my back; they made their furrows long” (Psalm 129:3), and “I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me”. (Psalm 22:17) All His bones were exposed!

My friend, He was thinking of you when the soldiers tied Him to the scourging post. As they raised their whips, He said, “Let it all come on Me!”

But what came on Him was not just the whip stripping the flesh off His bare back, but your sicknesses and diseases. Each time He was whipped, every form of sickness and disease, including arthritis, cancer, diabetes, bird flu and dengue fever, came upon Him. “The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”

Today, healing is your right because Jesus has paid the price for your healing. So if the devil says, “You cannot be healed,” just declare, “Jesus has paid for my healing. Disease has no right to be in my body. I am healed in Jesus’ name!”

Every curse of sickness that was supposed to fall on you fell on Jesus instead. He bore every one of those stripes, so that you can walk in divine health all the days of your life. The price has been paid so that you can rise up and get out of your bed of affliction!

I will not quote any psalms or something like that, because that do not heal. I only want to share with those of you the real truth of healing and I think that Jesus also wanted to note right that but people didn't understand it correctly. He wanted to note that we all are sons of God, we all have the power of God. We all are Gods. And it means that only buy ourselves we could heal any disease. Your thoughts, your energy, your love, your happiness, your power. Use all that. And believe yourself that you are Jesus, because you have the same power even if you do not use it or realize about it...
We all are one...

Jehovah Rapha in the Septuagint: kurios ho iômenos se — the Lord your healer

Meaning and Derivation: Jehovah is translated as "The Existing One" or "Lord." The chief meaning of Jehovah is derived from the Hebrew word Havah meaning "to be" or "to exist." It also suggests "to become" or specifically "to become known" - this denotes a God who reveals Himself unceasingly. Rapha (râpâ') means "to restore", "to heal" or "to make healthful" in Hebrew. When the two words are combined — Jehovah Rapha — it can be translated as "Jehovah Who Heals." (cf. Jer 30:17; Jer 3:22; Isa 30:26; Isa 61:1; Psa 103:3). Jehovah is the Great Physician who heals the physical and emotional needs of His people.

I will.. is a wonderful promise.. It will happen.. I will ...I am happy too..

Health.. this is good news.. we will be restored to health if we are unhealthy.. sick..

Heal your wounds.. inner and outer.. they are our wounds.. and they hurt us.. GOD will heal us and our wounds!! HE knows because HE told us these things..

If we are an outcast.. which sickness make us.. we miss out.. suffer and are quarrantined.. separate because of our sickness.. differences.. infirmities.. weaknesses.. cannot do what others are doing.. missing out..

No one cares.. sometimes if we are suffering a long time.. or in silence because it is difficult to retell it.. or people just do not have time to hear.. we feel alone.. unheard.. unloved..

JESUS cares.. that no one cares for us.. HE will heal us.. it is a promise.. Halleujah..
