Jer 7:23 But this is what I commanded them, saying, "Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.'

If all is well with us we are also in health. God wants us healthy because we walk in His ways.Take hold of it, declare the promises of His Word over yourself , your family and others.

Last night I was awoken to Gods presence on me.. He brought the second part (Highlighted) to my mind..

It so encouraged me..

Isn't it true that unless the Spirit highlights the Word... it doesn't seem to come alive to us..

What jumped out at me in these words is that the paths of righteousness are a Spirit led walk.. we cannot get that way on our own..

He leads me..
And amazingly.. for His name's sake.. not for our sakes..

Too many of us are trying to run the race on our own..

He must also restore our souls.. that human part too..

As I was in Gods presence last night.. I could still feel my soulish realm swirling around trying hard to comprehend God.. My mind seemed totally seperated to what God was doing.. It seemed that it was trying to do its own thing..

Praise God He is do HIS thing.. I guess sometimes I am seeking God in this and that.. and not seeing.. but God reminded me.. that it is HIS job to lead in the paths of righteousness.. He will do that because of who HE is.. His name is higher then any other.. We must wait for HIs leading.. and realise HE will lead us..

Our God is interested in our whole person, that includes healing.

Zechariah 9:12, "Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you."

I like that.. a prisoner of hope..

I will restore..
The Lord will restore!!

Oh Lord let us return.. to You..
Our stronghold..
Father hope does not dissapoint us..
You will not leave us or forsake us..
Father let us be in that place where Your promises are truth to us.. and a light shining in the darkness..

For those who hope in the Lord..

Romans 4: 18-25

Father God bring people here to read Your Word.. and open it to them.. Father how great a salvation we have been given.. to be made the righteousness of God!! Thank You that we are children of Abraham and that when You promised him that he would be the father of many nations.. we were included in that promise!! To You be all the glory.. Father open our ears, eyes and hearts and minds to the revelation of the good news.. so that we turn and believe even when it appears that there is no hope left.. Halleujah.. amen

I was watching the "Gospel of John" today.. A dvd movie I own of the book of John word for word.. Amazing film.. I learn so much just watching this film even though I have seen it quite a few times!! Different things stand out each time.. only the inspired Words of God could do that..

One of the parts of the story which stood out to me was about the man born blind.. from John 9..

I will copy it out here then add my comments..
Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind ~ John 9 :1-3

As he (Jesus) went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"
"Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.

Now what stood out to me today.. was that Jesus always tells the truth.. He called Himself the truth.. so I know He does not lie..

The disciples asked Him why the man was born blind.. and was it because of his sin or his parent's sin..

Jesus answered "neither.." Praise God.. and what He says "neither this man nor his parents sinned" is quite interesting.. Seeing we know all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.. What it seems to be saying to me is that sin was not the cause of this illness!! That the man's sin and his parents had nothing to do with it..

Now I see that as quite a revelation because I have heard many times said.. that sickness is a direct result of man's sins.. our fault and therefore we must bear it.. We are to blame for being ill.. or for mankind being ill.. so it is not surprising that people are sick and suffering because we keep sinning..

But Jesus doesn't seem to be saying that here..

He said that it happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.. it was not about our sinful nature.. Praise God.. That gives me such hope to see the healing presence of God touch the masses!!

"Attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes." (Proverbs 4:20-21)

Once you've made the Word of God final authority in your life, your first step to victory over the attacks of the enemy is to go to the Word and lay hold of God's promises concerning your situation.

Notice I said, "Go to the Word." It's good to have the Word committed to memory. But don't let that substitute for getting the Word before your eyes on a daily basis.

Think about it this way. It never did a hungry person any good to think about what a potato tastes like. Not even if he can remember it perfectly. The same thing is true with the Word of God. It's important to keep it in memory, but it's also necessary to go directly to it and feed your spirit with it. There is power in keeping the Word in front of your eyes and going into your ears. That's how it gets in your heart, so you can live by it.

So don't just think about the Word today, read it. Go to the promises that cover your situation. Feed on those promises and grow strong!

Scripture Study Deuteronomy 6:1-9

These are the commands, decrees and laws the LORD your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, 2 so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the LORD your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life. 3 Hear, O Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, promised you.
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. 5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Going to add to this as I come across the things Jesus said..

He tells us to speak to mountains and they will move if we but believe..

Jesus said..

"Be Clean".. Jesus said to the man with leprosy.. Matthew 8:3 (man was healed)

"Go! It will be done just as you believed it would."
Matthew 8:13 (in reply to centurions request for a servant paralysed and terrible suffering) (servant healed)

"According to your faith will it be done to you." Jesus said this to the two blind men.. and their sight was restored. ) Matthew 9:29:30

13This is why I speak to them in parables:
"Though seeing, they do not see;
though hearing, they do not hear or understand. 14In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:
" 'You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
15For this people's heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.

Matthew 13:13-15

I was reading this passage the other day.. and this really stood out to me.. Highlighted above..

We could read it like this..

If we indeed do see.. it is because our spiritual eyes are opened.. Not seeing what the flesh sees.. but what the Spirit sees..

If we indeed we do hear.. it is because our spiritual ears are opened.. Not hearing what the flesh hears.. but what the Spirit hears..

Which means we do therefore have understanding..

It means we do therefore perceive!!

Our hearts are soft and humbled before God ready to receive.. like the good soil in Matt 13 which produces an abundant spiritual harvest when the seed which is the Word is planted into it!!

We keep our eyes opened and our ears inclined to His word.. and we speak and live according to His implanted Word which is Spirit in us..

This is the encouraging part.. God Our Father says..

I will heal you!
