Has anyone else gotten this Bible? My mom bought me one and I'm so glad to have it. It's specifically for people in recovery. |

I am reading it now........I like the New Living Translation, it reads very easy and the commentaries on recovery are helpful and to the point. I have started a Wed. group in my church that reads this Bible... I think AV uses it as their basic text........thanks for sharing..jerry |

I bought one of my bible there at a good price.
I haven't seen one at walmart yet, but at Christian book stores they are around 22 dollars. They are soft back and are medium size print. You can get one online at http://www.hazelden.org go to the book section and typein the search life recovery bible. I have a Hazelden catalog and they want around 27 dollars for them. The study helps on recovery are very good.....jerry |

I have started at Genesis and am really enjoying it. Haven't read much of the Old Testement but that is going to change! | |
