Sad Classical Music

I'm trying to find some really sad sounding classical music. Can anyone give the name of some sad songs that are not Moonlight Sonata. Thanks!!

I'm a huge fan of the more "sad" side of Classical myself. I would love some more suggestions by you Classical scholars.

umm, i would suggest Mozarts Reqiuem Mass in D Minor, considering a requiem mass is a death mass and death is pretty sad some of the Mahler symphonies end on a "sad" note but i forget which ones lol

The last movement of Mahler's Ninth Symphony.

That is one of the saddest pieces you're EVER going to hear — and it's in D Major!

Berg's Violin Concerto is a close runner-up; as is Gorecki's Third Symphony.
