Jesus doesn't want any "competition". Are we not His new Priests and Kings on earth now?
I understand what you are saying, however, the Jewish people don't accept Jesus as their Messiah. The orthodox Jews believe that the Messiah will rebuild their temple and bring universal peace. This "messiah" will be the false messiah (the antichrist). The temple will be rebuilt...it is only a matter of time.

I understand.

But on the other hand, the Muslims believe Christ existed and they are the Chosen Ones, but they just view the Christ differently than we do.

Just 2 different religions of semites with different views of the God of Abraham and the Son, Jesus the Christ.
Anyway, I am pretty much through with this thread. Peace to all.

I started one here on the Court and Sanctuary of Revelation.

If anyone else is interested in discussing the situation in Israel and Biblical prophecy, I'll be checking in and would be happy to continue participating in the discussion.

You should check it out.
The 10 tribes of Israel have intermingled with the Medo-Kurds since they were planted in the cities of the Medes
o the Habor river in uper Syria.

Adiabene Dynasty

The illustrious Kurdish royal house of Adiabene, with Arbil as its capital, was converted to Judaism in the course of the 1st century BC, along with, it appears, a large number of Kurdish citizens in the kingdom (see Irbil/Arbil in Encyclopaedia Judaica). The name of the Kurdish King Monobazes, his queen Helena, and his son and successor Izates (derived from yazata, "angel"), are preserved as the first proselytes of this royal house. In fact during the Roman conquest of Judea and Samaria (68-67), it was only Kurdish Adiabene that sent provisions and troops to the rescue of the besieged Galilee, an inexplicable act if Adiabene was not already Jewish. (see [17] and[18])

In 2001, a team of Israeli, German, and Indian scientists discovered that among the various Jewish communities, the Ashkenazi Jews showed close relation to the Muslim Kurds
Most of the 95 Kurdish Muslim test subjects came from northern Iraq. Moreover, according to another study, the CMH (Cohen modal haplotype) is a genetic marker from the northern Middle East which is not unique to Jews. [28] In another study, Kurdish Jews were found to be close to Muslim Kurds, but so were Ashkenazim and Sephardim, suggesting that much if not most of the genetic similarity between Jewish and Muslim Kurds is from ancient times [29].

Kurdish Jews and some Kurdish Christians (not be confused with ethnic Chaldo-Assyrians of Kurdistan) usually speak Aramaic (for example: Lishana Deni) as a first language. Aramaic is a Semitic language related to Hebrew and Arabic rather than Kurdish.

The point is ISRAEL is scattered in every land but a core group do still live in Syria,Turkey, Georgia-IBERIA, Armania, Iran, and Iraq..

I dont know why you think its a lie.
The HOUSE OF ISRAEL can only be spiritual and in Christ.
But there are remanents of the 10 tribes and they know who they are.
With love in Christ

Well I am very pleased to see so much participation, but as one already said it would be nice if it stayed on topic. There is so much to answer here, if I forget anyone I'm sorry, but I'll hit the highlights for the most part.

Let me start off by saying, in MY opinion, I don't read anything into bible prophecy that isn't there. When doing biblical exegisis there's a famous rule that says: When the present tense, makes perfect sense, seek no other sense. And I follow that to the "T" when I study God's word. I've noticed that a few of you seem to take things to allegorically (sp) and I'm sorry I just can't even begin to agree with that, for example.

I am Pre-trib, I believe that two things MUST happen before we are raptured, despite the fact that ppl teach that Jesus could return at any time. One, is that Damascus must be destroyed, due to the fact that most ppl put Ezekiel's battle almost immediately after the rapture, and Syria isn't a nation listed for this fight. And secondly, that the US must be incapacitated before, or immediately after the rapture, the reason being is simple. If the US were still a world player, why would Israel NEED to make a peace treaty with the anti-christ? They wouldn't, hence the US that we know it, has to cease to exist by one way or another, be it divine judgement from God, or WW3, or what have you.

Also, the third temple won't be built on the temple mount, it'll be built 12 klicks north in a place called Shiloh. There is a major fault line just under the temple mount, that is how when Jesus returns at the second coming, how it will split the Mt of Olives in two, and thus connect both seas, therefore the temple would be wasted. Now I can't intelligently argue this 100% fact, because some believe there will be a millenial temple, and it will be the one the anti-christ defiled, and they will just recleanse it, others believe the millenal temple will be built at Shiloh, and the third will be built on the mount, however, even with the outer court, there still isn't enough room. Also I've heard it said that the walls over there aren't from solomon's temple, but actually from Herod's temple. If anyone is knowledgable about this I would more than welcome the info as I haven't been able t o make up my mind about the whole situation concerning the temples.

Lamb, we get it, until you see the temple, etc etc. Do you actually type the words over and over, or do you just copy and paste? I'm just curious since I've seen you say almost the same thing five times now.

The reason why this is so important is, as already stated, this could lead to the false peace, which ultimately leads to Ezekiel's battle. No doubt it WILL get worse before it'll get better, and the only way it'll get better is by the Lord calling us home.

There will be no cry for a third temple until AFTER Ezekiel's battle when God saves Israel from their enemies by divine intervention. Right now I hear that there is only a 10% interest regarding the temple at the moment. Rest assured that I'd bet anything that during this whole fracus, that we'll see a third red heifer born.

Why is this so important? in '97 we had a red heifer born in Israel for the first time in 2000 years, the tension was so thick they actually thought about murdering it due to its implications. It showed imperfections, however, and was thus disqualified. Later, in '02, there was another one, and it too was imperfect. We've had the Holy half-shekel be produced again, which is mentioned in the book of numbers, the Dome of the Rock has a 100 foot crack in it at its southern wall, and has for the last 3 years, and last but certainly not least we've had the re-emergence of the Sanhedrin council just last year. (If that name sounds familar it's because they were the ones that tried Jesus.)

I'm really not trying to be snide here, I'm just saying since this is the eschatology thread, I honestly believe you guys already know this. (or should) so when you add all that, PLUS what is going on right now in Israel, do you not get a sense of urgency like never before?

If I have missed a question, or an important comment, I do apoligize, I JUST got home and am very tired. I mean no disrespect to anyone, I'm just trying to do my part by making this info known, as well as learn something along the way myself. God bless all.

I believe that whatever happens will happen, but I will not sit here and live in fear of trying to figure out if this is the end or not. Things have been going on with Israel since the beginning of time. No one knows when the time will come. We have been living in the last days since Jesus was crucified on the cross, Jesus himself said that when you hear of wars and rumors of wars to not be alarmed. So the new conflict with Israel is nothing new, if you put your trust in Christ alone then we have nothing to fear-it is not for us to figure out the time and dates.
