Benny Hinn?

At least we are not ripping of the innocent through deception and seduction.

Benny Hinn is a false prophet, the very one that are spoken about in His Word.

After you read some of the stuff above, it won't make any difference, because we are in the latter days of perilous times and the doctrine of demons rule.

He's the best of the best.

But, like all false prophets, teachers, or healers, God still uses them.

It's amazing how all these claims about healings, and I would reckon if you checked out 90% of the healings after the event, you will also find that they were false as well.

You want to fall over, then you will fall over.

You want to be deceived, then you will be deceived.

You want to be seduced, then you will be seduced.

There is only one God, and it's not Benny Hinn.

What Benny's motivations are, I cannot say, because I do not know his heart. Though his actions are often the epicenter of much tumultuous controversy, I believe that his actions are benevolent, regardless of his motives.

What I will say is this: I disagree a great deal with his teachings. For example (all statements by Benny Hinn and cited from their source):

My rebuttal lay within Isaiah 55:8-9, which says, "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' declares the LORD. 'As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.'"

We are fallen creations of the Creator (Genesis 3), not demi-gods. We are not born with the capacity for self-salvation, as Jesus Christ was. We are not endowed with the powers of God.

Just a look at Luke 9:3, where Christ tells His followers to take nothing with them, living in abject poverty, surviving on the good graces of fellow Christians. Christ Himself, as far as we can tell, never had an income during His ministry. All the Disciples died in their poverty, but blessed before the Lord. There is nowhere in Scripture where God tells us we will be prosperous, but rather hated and rejected (John 15).

If you will come back and make that pledge, God will heal your heart tonight.

One look at the book of Job definitely disproves that. God does not do anything with our permission.

Those are things with which I adamantly disagree with that Hinn himself has said and believes. I have also known people who have previously worked with Hinn. One quit because she was told that she would be fired if she did not address Benny as "Master Hinn." Any man who loves himself that much is suspect.

I don't know his motives, but I have heard his words and seen his actions, and I find them suspect.

By their fruit you will know them.. I have read testimonies of people's lives changed by God through Benny Hinn's ministry..

I would say everybody who does the LORD's work is going to come under fire.. satan works like that.. He is a liar and slanderer..

Alot of people hated Jesus too and said some awful things about Him.. but look at the lives He touched..

Reading that sort of stuff isn't truth.. but seeing what the results are of His ministry should be proof of what He stands for..

this is my first post in a few months, as i haven't had the internet, but just now i saw the Benny Hinn title on the main forums page and thought i'd take a look. i read through the first five or six pages of posts and felt compelled to post.

i've been going to church since i was a child and i'm almost 50 years old now. i've been studying God's word and serving Him since i can remember. i've never watched one of Benny Hinn's telecasts, as i saw about 30 seconds of him on an advertisement and i could see he was false.

years ago my hubby was watching some tv evangelist, can't remember his name, was on some cable channel. anyway, i could see he was insincere within a few seconds of watching him. a few years later he was exposed as a fraud for bilking millions from his TV viewers.

God gives his children discernment and we MUST use it. in I Thessalonians doesn't it say we should prove everything and hold fast to what is good? how many times when you are reading your Bible and worshiping the Lord has He slammed you to the ground? how many? do you remember anywhere in the Bible where God's people are worshiping Him, filled with HIS Spirit, and He slams them to the ground? what's the point? God's Spirit-filled children are used by Him to help others, to teach others, to spread His holy word throughout the world, not for grandstanding or theatrics. remember, there are other spirits in this world, not just God's. we must use our discernment through the Holy Ghost. think of Jesus and everything we know about His ministry in biblical times. did he act like Benny? NO! Jesus is humble and meek, as we are to be. Jesus is loving and compassionate, and we are to emulate Him. Jesus was a pauper. Benny Hinn is filthy rich. don't you suppose Benny has seen first-hand the poverty, disease and starvation in third-world countries? why doesn't Benny perform a healing for those poor folks? or maybe he could just give his fortune to feed them? now that would be a ministry!

Benny draws his roots from that kathryn kuhlman woman back from the 60s, whom i saw on TV when i was a child. same with her, i could tell from about 30 seconds listening to her spew that she was not of the Lord, and i was probably only 8 years old. she also "healed" people. puh-lease!!! why are people still dying if we have these great healers among us?!

you know, some people in this world don't have a Bible. they've never been to church (most people when you consider there are billions of us). or maybe they've only been to a dead church that doesn't really allow a person to KNOW the Lord. so they see this Benny person or others like him, with his persuasive, bold manner, out there claiming to actually HEAL people, and they think Benny is of the Lord. it's not their fault and i pray God will open minds and hearts of those seeking, that they may KNOW Him through His perfect Word. it's really important to read the Word, let God dwell in your heart, and then you can discern these false prophets for yourself. i was glad to read that those who have actually attended one of Benny Hinn's so-called "healings" found him to be false. i understand that there is no evidence of ANYONE EVER HAVING BEEN HEALED through his theatrics. i read that when asked to produce proof that anyone had been healed at one of his programs, he could not produce even one.

no, i don't believe everything i read. i realize some of the stuff printed on the web about Benny Hinn is bound to be inaccurate or out-and-out false, but God in his grace has given us His discernment, that we may never need to wonder, and i discern false prophecy where Mr. Hinn is concerned. you can see it in his caustic manner. you can see it in his riches. you can see it in the way the people who have actually attended his meetings have posted here.

i understand this post might be offensive to some. sorry! i don't mean to offend my brothers and sisters in Christ, but this is my understanding through discernment from the Holy Ghost, and i felt compelled to post it.

Benny Hinn Is an Amazing Preast I have been to one of his crusades and it is real! I father was healed my stepmom was healed and so was i he is not a fake! i love jesus christ!

A young woman was healed after Benny Hinn prayed...
