you didnt answer my queestion. if space is a vacuum and we are protected from our "Atmopshere" what protects the astronauts from being sucked out of their space ship? they dont have an atmosphere. and also, where would they be "sucked" too??? why would space be a vacuum?
if the sun is able to keep the earth in orbit, why couldnt it keep a little astronaut in orbit too??
what does my avatar have to do with anything and what are you talking about
no because God is beyond our physical realm and our understanding. All we know is that he just Is, and always has been.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Do not attempt to adjust your computer.
The fault is not in your Internet connetion; this really is the cutting edge of Creationist argumentation we get around here.

Yeah, I have the distinct impression he's thinking of Mega-Maid. |

Me too. It boggles my mind how someone could possibly be that bad off in terms of science education.

Do you even know what that "vaccum" sucking really is? It's the difference in pressure. The "vaccum" has a lower pressure than the no "vaccum" (btw, it's vacuum), and everything in nature has this lovely tendency at being... equal and stable. The pressure likes to be equal in the system. Aka, the high pressure (relative) particles move towards the low pressure area, thus causing a wind. That wind would be the "sucking".
How that's related with EM beats the hell out of me. I've no idea what you're trying to accomplish by this sentence except making a fool out of yourself, and that is not neccessary anymore, trust me. you didnt answer my queestion. if space is a vacuum and we are protected from our "Atmopshere" what protects the astronauts from being sucked out of their space ship? they dont have an atmosphere. and also, where would they be "sucked" too??? why would space be a vacuum?
What protects them? Several (dozens?) inches of steel, different plastics and thermostable cheramic plating? Pinch a hole in a spaceship filled with air. Or watch "Alien 4" and you might get the idea. Pinch a hole in a bloody baloon and see what happens. if the sun is able to keep the earth in orbit, why couldnt it keep a little astronaut in orbit too??
How is it not keeping an astronaut in orbit? Ever heard of an astronaut that escaped the solar system? Can you even imagine the SIZE of the solar system? Are billions of kilometres too much for you to grasp? Ever heard of the third cosmic velocity? That's the speed any body needs to escape the Sun's gravitational pull, if you like. That's around 16 km/s if I recall. Considering the fact that the car races generally go over 0.1km/s, that should tell you a lot.
Though I doubt. no because God is beyond our physical realm and our understanding. All we know is that he just Is, and always has been.
Where exactly has this been attested? Seems like there's A LOT beyond your understanding, but that's not a good thing, you know! |
