Reps: 16 (power: 0) | | | Christians, have you done any of the following Please be completely honest (its in the 10 commandments after all), and by "read three books" I mean front to back, not "the equivilant of three books." Thankyou for filling this in, and non-Christians please refrain from voting. |

I have read the whole Bible at least 5 times. It takes the Holy Spirit of God to understand the Bible and to know how to apply it to our lives. God wants to do a work in our life to transform us into Children of God. |

THE ATONEMENT (Isa 53:5a) he was wounded for our offenses, and smitten for our wickedness:
for the pain of our punishment was laid upon him, THE HEALING (Isa 53:5b)
additionally with his beatings we are cured.

Reps: 805,336,401,236,402,048 (power: 805,336,401,236,420) | | | Dear alancooney, I don`t quite understand the difference between fundamentalist church, liberal= and conservative=, I have been to Church of England, Methodist Church, and Salvationist Citadel, for more than 30 years, once every Sunday, sometimes twice. I have been to many Bible-study meetings, and open air meetings, as a Salvationist. I do not know exactly, why you want to know, alancooney, but like to help in any case. Greetings from Emmy, sister in Christ. |

Emmy - Heres a sliding scale:
Fundermentalists - Conservatives - Liberals - Extreme Liberals
-Fundermentalists believe the Bible to be the literal word of God, completely innerant. They believe in 7-day Creationism.
-Conservatives believe the Bible to the infallible in spiritual meaning, but not innerant. They accept that the authors may have arranged content to suit evangelical agendas.
-Liberals are far more free with the text, accepting scientific flaws and saying it is spiritually true instead. They always believe in theistic evolution.
-Radical Liberals are basically atheists who hold onto Christian culture. The only large radical liberal denomination is called Unitarian Universalism.
Church of England are conservative, and I think methodist are liberal. I've no idea about the other one. |

G-d bless,

"The time has come for universal health care in America," Obama said at a conference of Families USA, a health care advocacy group. "I am absolutely determined that by the end of the first term of the next president, we should have universal health care in this country." Whoa your scale isn't very useful (most churches I know of don't fit cleanly into a category). But your query sounds interesting. |
