Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | | I spend Christmas with family. I am interested in people's thoughts on
whether Santa Claus would be considered the worship of a false god, since children are basically taught to pray to him for gifts. What do you think? Keep in mind that Santa gets way more attention on a day that has
been designated as Christ's birthday. |

Reps: 8,131 (power: 21) | | My family and i don't usualyl make a big deal out of christmas. Big deal as in we don't go nuts with roast turkey, tons of presents, heaps of food, lots of partying etc. Plus for some reason it's a time that i feel like just going outside. I mean, it is Jesus' birthday after all. I don't feel right celebrating it by presents or christmas trees or etc.
We've got tons of time to go out and do some awesome stuff for people less fortunate. Now if only i can convince my family to . Might as well since we can't seem to decide who will put up the christmas tree this year . (boy it takes ages to do that )

Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | | i do my own thing. my parents aren't believers, so i sneak out of the house and go to church. but because you dont have to work, they expect that i am around the house that day (no visiting friends cuz they are visiting family)..... so i get to do nothing and watch its a wonderful life on tv, even though it is about christians. |

Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | It's a pity that I'll be working over the holiday.
Normally I go the the midnite mass, it's difficult to get a seat though since that is one of the two nites a year that the mediocres decide to darken the pews.

Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | | I don;t celebrate Christmas.
Many years ago, I began simply staying alone on Christmas so's I could spend time thinking of the birthday boy.
I didn't think it right to swap presents with other folks, have parties or get-togethers and not even think of the reason for the day's celebration.
I hated that awful stuff.
Now, I'm happily spending the day with the Holy Father - and no one else.
Every day is Father's Day - Holy Father's Day - to me.
