My Mum is a Christian. She suffers from chronic depression and is an alcoholic. How do you explain this? That her faith isn't strong enough? Or maybe because she's had to raise the kids alone for the last ten years with what little money she could in a country where she has no friends, no family and no one to help her. Honestly John.

I use to read a lot of the reports on my daddy desk and I would say yes, a lot of the kids out there are mixed up and confused because of the mess that the parents have made out of things. My brother was head of the psy dept of the childrens hospital here. He will admit that they tend to medicate kids when they should be giving the medication to the parents. Of course now that my dad has died and they have new laws about that, we have destroyed all of the medical records. I would have liked to have kept them, but that is just the way it is now a days. |
