ugh. this is me. i am repenting (or thinking i am but i tell ya, i am getting sick of this worldly sorrow here... i want some acutal godly sorrow for once about this weight) ...
tonight i repent again. i will go back to making sure i am actually eating right. i have a plan. now i have to overcome the laziness and get more self-discipline under my hat. i have just stood on the scale and it says 155 lbs. i am 5'1 and i should only weigh at about 115 lbs. (will edit if wrong later....) that is 40 lbs i need to be really concentrating on... (i am not a big boned woman either)

When the Lord brought back captives...we were like men who dreamed. Our mouths were filled w/laughter, Our tongues w/songs of joy...The Lord has done great things for us The Lord has done great things for me....Those who sow in tears, will reap w/songs of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return w/songs of joy, carrying sheaves w/him.Psalms 126

isaiah, baby steps, lots of baby steps will lead you to big results.
Set small goals, like commit to walking 3K 2x week for 3 weeks, then ad a third and some resistance training.
Lifestyle changes take time.
God BLess you, pm if you like.

Hi, all, I missed you!
So there I was with my oh-so-regular workout, being a role model for all my co-workers... then LIFE hit me! Work has been brutal, personal life overflowing, and lifting has suffered. I just ventured back into weight room today for a light "reminder" workout...
Deep (and very light) squats
Dead lifts
Dumbell incline presses
Shoulder presses
Hanging leg raises
Swiss ball crunches
Balance on swiss ball
Geez... skiing a little but way out of shape. Planning a comeback, though!

Hello all, how are you doing? I am new here (obviously) I am still learning all the technically stuff. I have just spent an hour trying to register and fill out more questions then my brain can handle during summer break. I am a teacher and I am using this summer to get back into working out. I played racquet ball on Tuesday and Wednesday, weeded the garden and redid chaulking in bathrooms (yes I am counting that as a workout ) and this morning I did 30 out of a 60 min exercise tape. I only have one word to say....OUCH... Anyway, I have plans to hit the Y in the morning for beginners step class (ok I admit I am scared!) unless I am too sore then it will be a slow walk on the treadmill to losen up. I do have a lot more energy when I work out, my goal is that it will become a habit again if I do it for these two months I am off before I have to fit it in my school schedule. I am thankful God has lead me to these boards. I have been to other boards and find myself having to judge from the thread name if the content is something is going to be supportive or something offensive. I hope that I can be of support to those here as well.
35 min of cardio// jumping and running in my living room.
