5 miles. Lots of wildlife, no people. As the temperature rises above 85 F, the number of people on the trail goes down logarithmically. Today it was about 90 F.
Today, yoga then a client then cardio conditioning. I my CC class we have been focusing on athletic drills. Now that things are slowing down, I shall attempt to start running again, I want to try a 5K walk run and test my IT bands.

Paul took me golfing yesterday, it was my first time and we only did 9 holes. I am so glad we did not do 18. It was very hot and sunny and there were bugs too.

Loving my new 4-day program. It's just loading up lots of dynamic free-weights and explosive lifts.
Yesterday had to double up my workouts (Upper and Lower Body) because I missed my regular days for those two days (Tuesday and Wednesday). So I wound up with:
And then a 3km run tonight to the video store and back. Normally I'd have a soccer game tonight, but there's some tournament on so we have a bye week this week. Boooooo
And tomorrow will be another double-up workout for me... Like I said, normally I'm in Tues and Wed for days 1 and 2, then I normally take Thursday off then go day 3 and 4 on Friday and Sunday. But because that's all buggered up, I had today (friday) off and doubled up Thurs and Saturday.Yippee!
The other reason I love this program is because on 3 of the 4 days, I get to throw up weight with my olympic lifts. Funniest situation I can think of is when I've done the requisite bicep curls that are in one of the days while all the "beach builders" are looking at me with my 25lbs in each arm and chuckle. Then I walk over, chalk up and throw 70kg up to my chest (about 5'10 there, I'm a 6'5 guy) in a clean. I love watching them all stop and just see their jaws drop. Then of course, they try to one up on me and curl more...
