What's your opinion of people using flags during worship? Do you have an opinion or have you never seen them being used in worship? |

Flags are used regularly here in the U.K. Particularly at the larger Christian gatherings. |

When we talk flags, and flagwaving, we are not talking about national flags.
These are flags made by the saints, members of churches, and the flag may carry the words 'Jesus is Lord' for example. The flags have all kinds of different emblems, words, all of which remind us of Jesus.
They are waved in recognition of who Jesus is, of His character, his victory, his salvation, his might and power etc.
We look at the flags and we think of Jesus. |

Reps: 7,044,632,392,638,330 (power: 0) | | | Flags are used in the US - I've sold a lot there and most of the websites I rate are American. In fact, I got the ministry from Americans to begin with!
Flags may not necesarily be embellished - though it's terrific when they are - but more rely upon the language of colours for their meaning.
The flags that are lifted up and paraded are more usually referred to as banners or standards. Whilst wonderful and excellent to focus one's mind upon Jesus, flags in worship as with movement in worship, is a more physical kind of activity. Very much akin to dance.
