Does prayer to Mary, the mother of Jesus, assist salvation ?

Does prayer to Mary, the mother of Jesus, assist salvation ?
Off course not.....such a notion is not only rediculous in the extreme....but a foul stench in the nostrils of my God....The Lord Jesus Christ....who's blood was shed at Calvary....HE is the only mediator between God and man....it is His blood that secures our confidence before the throne of grace ... NOT Mary's.
Mary was a sinner just like anyone else.....She was in as much need of the sin cleansing power of the blood of her son (Christ) as was that vile persecutor Saul of Tarsus.........
What use is it to pray to Mary...who was a sinner ?

If prayer to Mary can assist in one's salvation, then the Blood of Christ is insufficient in and of itself.

Or, the Roman Catholics have to admit that God Elects Whom He Wills and considers Mary's arguments on behalf of another in God's Election.

But wait, that won't work either since God Elected the saints before the foundations of the world or Mary even existed.

I guess it depends on who you ask

O Lady, since thou art the dispenser of all graces, and since the grace of salvation can come only through thy hands, our salvation depends on thee.

St. Bernardine of Siena

Only at the intercession of Mary do sinners obtain forgiveness . . . They receive pardon only by the intercession of Mary.

St. Peter Chrysologus

What a load of rubbish....Satan indeed has blinded the world.....it would be laughable if it wasn't so sickening....and to think there are pulpits that teach this garbage....the tares among the wheat.

I agree, what was the point of His death if salvation came from his mother. More importantly, what was the point of his birth?

Show me a man who trusts his own righteousness, obedience, devotion, feelings, or anything else of his own, and I will show you a man to whom the blood and righteousness of Christ is worthless. Don Fortner

It often surprises people to learn that God is not always pleased when people worship him. We might be inclined to think that God should be thankful for any attention we give him out of our busy schedules. But worship is not about God's thanking us; it is about our thanking him. And God is not pleased with just anything we choose to do in his presence. The mighty Lord of heaven and earth demands that our worship-indeed, all of life-be governed by his word.
John M. Frame

The Bible will give Christ to you in an intimacy so close that he would be less visible to you if he stood before your eyes.
Erasmus

Critique of St.Bernardine of Siena's prayer.

O Lady, since thou art the dispenser of all graces, and since the grace of salvation can come only through thy hands, our salvation depends on thee.

In the Bible"grace" is dispenced by Father or Son.
And since St. Bernardine of Siena states that grace of salvation can come ONLY thbrough the hands of Mary, St.Bernardine of Siena's prayer is an unfortunate lie.

What do you say St. Peter Chrysologus?

Furthermore, I am certain that when time will come and we face God and see how we slandered that poor woman Mary into making her into a grotesque idol that accepts intercessions of sinners, forgives sins, blesses and curses, reveals in visions and apparitions, still relays messages from "Jesus" ... just name it, the leadership that promoted such inconsistencies and idolatry will most probably be accountable to God for slandering that poor woman and shaming her on this Earth.

Idolatry is a shame in heaven.
The way that poor woman is shamed here is not acceptable.
