What was their real relationship, because I know people that don't believe Jesus was the messiah, and think that Jesus didn't die, and actually just went and lived with her, and had a family and such, why do people think this, is there any evidence that happened, or is it just someone's wild fairy tale being portrade as fact. I believe it isn't true, but why is it even an option for some people? |

Jesus and Mary grew up together in Nazereth. They were never like boyfriend/girlfriend, but they were as best friends and romance could have happened if his life was not cut short. |

Whaaaa? Where is the scripture for this? Right - it's nowhere.
Mary's name indicates that she came from Migdal which is not very close to Nazareth. Also, she was healed from 7 spirits. If Jesus knew her as a child, why did he not stop the demons from inhabiting her?
Edited to add: Jesus was not born to have a romance. He should have married about 15 years earlier if that was the case. He was born to be the perfect sacrifice. Sheesh! |

Isn't the bride of Christ the Church? I believe she is the only bride for Jesus.

As long as I live in the flesh—as long as GOD lets me breathe and walk on the topside of HIS green earth---I will make a clear distinction between what my mind perceives and what my heart has received and experienced. And I am determined never to confuse them. |

Reps: 694 (power: 0) | | For some reason people tend to forget who Jesus really is. HE IS GOD! There is no way that Jesus had a initimate relationship with anyone, I think saying such a thing is blasphemous.
Truthfully, I can't bare to listen to such things. I'll say it once more, Jesus is God!
I'm sorry for being angry, but it's the truth.

To believe so is blasphemous, and especially that God would want to hide anything like that from us. It sounds just like Satan telling Eve that God was hiding his knowledge that they were "just like him", and this is Satan now, telling us that Jesus wasn't as holy and pure as we thought he was. God bLess!

You mean that same early church that gave you your Bible?

Wrong - the church said she was a prostitute. The Bible says she was healed of 7 spirits.
Luke 8:2 After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him, [2] and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out;
Where are your scriptures? Please let all of us know what verses say what you stated. The Bible does not contain any such deceptive garbage. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
