Reps: 137 (power: 0) | | | My most horrible day :*( You wouldn't believe what happened to me today. I was busy working on my lab report (that's due tuesday, btw) and getting a lot of work done. well, after three hours of working on it, i go to save it, and to make a long story short, it's destroyed. the entire file is lost, and there's no way to get it back on top of having to start that all over again, i have a killer exam on monday. i have no idea where to even start. i am hereby making this the "homework frustration support" thread. i could really use some prayer for getting through all this stuff. i really appreciate it.
God Bless Everyone!
BTW- i know this seems pretty insignificant compared to what other people must be going through, but i'm feeling very frustrated. |

Sometimes it helps to just start over. Go lay in your bed just for a second and get up again. Stretch real big and think to yourself, "I'm alive. I got that going for me." Then go about redoing your work.
An alternative to this is simply shooting your computer. |

The reason? This was the first sign of trouble with the 3 1/2 drive on my old 486: it wrote bad data to a disk, therefore making 21 pages of a novel I wanted to write disappear grrrr A month later that drive stopped working for good.

LOL. . .If my 486 didn't still have the HD in it (I'm planning to have that eventually put in another PC as a secondary drive so I can retrieve whatever is still left on it), I would sell it to you for target practice
