Reps: 159 (power: 0) | | | I have been crucified with Christ Ga. 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Ro. 12:1,2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.
These two verse have burned on my heart, these last few days. The Lord has saved me, I want to follow him, but what does that involve? It means I must die to myself and take on his life. This is a hard teaching, but it must be so. when I continue to do my own thing, I struggle, I sin, i live in frustration and guilt. My flesh is like a drownding man, struggling to live, and fighting the call to be crucified with Christ. Praise the Lord, we have a savior that has overcome the world, so He can overcome any hinderrence in my life. Each day I must continue to die, while Christ must continue to live and rule in my life. What must exactly die in my life? My rights, my self-gratifing desires, my ego, my wanting to be first, my wanting to be right, my wanting to be noticed by others, these must all die and conform to the will of Christ. This is a strugle, but it is a beautiful strugle. Because what I lose, is nothing compared to the peace and love that dwell inside me when I am surrendered to him. I have been saved by Christ later in my life then many, and oh how my flesh, clings on with a tight grip, to its wants and desires. But we have a Lord who has conquered death and the grave, and he can and will conquer my flesh.
Dear Lord,
Thank You, that you have showed us what we need to do to follow you. Lord, root out those hidden strongholds that keep me from following you. Lord just as you conquered death and the grave, conquer the strongholds of sin and self in my heart.
In Jesus name,
Amen

I wish that no one here knew my name and that I could post God's Truth in anonimity. My name and who I am is not important. Only who I am in Jesus matters at all.
But too many see my name and have a predjudice that influences their perception of God's Word.
Only the Glory and Honor of Jesus matters at all. We as individuals have no meaning outside of Christ, and our words have no power or relavence.

Christ in us – the hope of glory.
I always thought it meant how much I read the bible, but I believe I now it's how much I died and let Christ live through me.

Reps: 42 (power: 0) | | | We certainly have to go through alot of inner changes, and it is a beautiful proccess. I think it's amazing the way the Lord shows us what we need to change in our lives, and the way he blesses us when we make those changes thanking him for the help, and guidance he has given us.
May we all draw closer to God everyday.

Though I admire your zeal and devotion, please allow me to assure you there is no need to pray for trouble or persecution. If you are a born again Christian making an attempt to actively follow and obey your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, you have have plenty of both!
May God bless you in your dedication, and make you indeed fruitful.
