The difference between
'involvement' and 'commitment' is like an eggs-and-ham breakfast: the chicken was 'involved' - the pig was 'committed'.

'Faith is not a once-done act, but a continuous gaze of the heart at the Triune God. Believing, then, is directing the hearts' attention to Jesus. It is lifting the mind to "behold the Lamb of God," and never ceasing that beholding for the rest of our lives.'
hello,
I am seriously thinking of converting to the Catholic faith yes. I find they believe much of what I do and that the denominations I am a part of now (Lutheran & non-denominational) dont believe what I do..... so yes, I am wanting to convert.

Welcome to OBOB. If you like, please introduce yourself in a thread below in the main part of OBOB. Or you can just read some of the threads in the forum and see if it raises any questions.
If you are seriously thinking about Catholicism you should contact a priest. But if you have any questions about the Catholic faith or how to go about contacting a priest, or just getting to know everyone... just ask.
Your brothers and sisters in Christ are here for you.

If pregnancy presents a challenge, do we as a society rise to the challenge by dispensing with the child? And when a pregnancy comes at a difficult time, what is the worthier response? Do we surround mother and child with protection and love, or do we hold out to her the cold comfort of a trip to an abortionist? Where is our true character as a nation to be seen - let's ask ourselves this question: Where is our true character to be seen, in an adoptive home, or in an abortion clinic? Who are we? Who are we America? That question deserves an answer. Bob Casey Sr.

I am sorry in my heart that I am de-subscribing from this thread. Rose of Lima is my light and always will be but I must withdraw. I am very active in spiritual renewal but just not here.
Thanks
