Getting the anger OUT. Go yell into a pillow. Empower yourself, take a karate class. Talk about the pain.
Go to God and ask him to rid you of the fear and ask for your heart to heal.

For me, I think I have forgiven. But the fear sticks with me. |

honestly, me too. we were robbed at knife point. my husband hit over head and stabbed. i was around 8 months pregnant. they didn't harm me because of it.
i am much more careful of my surroundings and have since taken many forms of self defense. 
mostly i practicing giving my fear over to soothing scriptures when uncomfy thoughts appear.
my fav source of comfort across my heart is feeling like God loves me and longs to see me blessed.

And Music, CollectiveSoul, is a FABULOUS healer! Excellent! Excellent! Excellent.
So... I was watching (actually sleeping) in front of the Tv just the other night and the guys brother who attacked me was on the news. I was DEAD asleep and sat straight up eyes glued to the tv. It was another one of those odd experiences. |
