Assault

Hey there,

I feel like its a relatively minor thing compared to some of the stuff i've read here but then i'm not making a big deal of it. Last night I was assaulted by someone who was hassling my girlfriend. It was completely unprovoked, i was trying to lead her away to somewhere safe and he snuck up on me. He punched at a funny angle and ended up belting me in the mouth.

A couple of stitches later and i'm told he's been arrested and my lip will be swollen for a couple of weeks. I'm pressing charges because I was so scared that something could have happened to gemma if i hadn't turned up. The man was a menace and I am ultimately glad that i took the hit rather than him continuing to harrass her.

I'm glad your ok. I hope you will be able to press charges, this loonie needs to stay away from your Girlfriend and yourself. People have nothing better to do, how pathetic he is.

Heya just an update.

The guy who hit me is on bail at the moment, the police are just compiling a case for prosecution. My lip swelled up quite badly but is going down now, the missus is annoyed she cant kiss me on valentines day but i'm sure she'll get over it! lol

Situations like this make me realize violence is everywhere. Let me wish you well and that this dude gets a rap sheet and sent up the river.
