I don't have the gift of healing yet (I am seeking God about that, for it is my desire to serve Him that way) But I think you are asking a valid question here. A few people that I know who have the gift have tingling or heat come into their hands. I know that when I am to lay hands on someone to pray for them I get a warm feeling and tingle in my hands too. First I hear the Lord tell me to pray and then I get the sensation. When the Lord tells me to prophesy or to give a word, I tremble (not enough for someone to know it unless they touched me) but it happens.
I would like to hear from those who have the gift of healing and their experiences with that.

You can but it doesn't have to be. Sometime it is there sometimes it isn't. Don't ever go by feelings though that is being pragmatic and not good. Go by the Word of God.

I am a Pentellectual...what does that mean...I understand Biblical Greek, the Early Fathers, Philosophy and Theology, Pray in tongues more than most. I believe God does use people to heal the sick, believe God will use us to raise the dead, and advance the Gospel of the Kingdom with Signs and Wonders.

Healing is by faith in the Lord Jesus. Mark9/23.
I had sometimes felt the power of God in my hands and in my whole being and prayed for ppl but nothing happened. Just 5 days ago i just prayed for an 8-10 year old girl out of plain compassion Mat14/14. I literally felt nothing, no power.. the girl was crying from pain on her left knee, couldn't walk just sat in agony. (she fell while playing a day before and badly injured it) I barely thouched her knee and she screemed from pain! After praying 4 times for her commanding as i was directed she was walking, bending her knee no pain! what a joy! Jesus is the healer.
I'm still learning but we pray just by faith only and Jesus still heals. All glory belongs to him.
i have the gift of healing but its going to go through my praise dance whenever i dance the power of healing will go out from me.! Which God is just using me for his Glory!
