Okay, I don't know if this is just me or if this is something I can fix. I've got my IE browser open to the forums. And the top where the links for Home, PM, Controle Panel, etc. is supposed to be white...right?
Well, I'm seeing a pink tint to it. It's also kind of pink at the top of my IE browser where it says the title of the page (Like now it says Christian Forums - Post New Thread - Microsoft Internet Explorer.)
Is this a setting that I messed up somehow? Or is it just me from staring at an SHTML file for the last hour making edits?

Check your monitor/video card cable connection. I've dealt with fussy connections that will sometimes tint the screen various shades of different colours.
You know what....I think it might've just been me.
Because things now look a bit better. So I think it was because I was staring at green text on a black background for waaaay too long.
But thanks for the ideas in case it happens to me again and I haven't been staring at strange color combinations for an hour.

I think this is the ONLY time I will ever agree with FordPerfect ( at that name, makes about as much oxymoronic sense as "MicrosoftPerfect" )
This happened to me with the 486 back in August. All of a sudden everything that was white, even the letters on the boot screens, turned pink. At first I thought the computer itself was gone, but we switched the monitor with that of another 486 and it worked fine again.

Well, it wasn't everything that was white. My Lotus Notes e-mail stuff that had white...was white. And the quick reply box was white. It was just a lot of the text that's normally white was pink....I'm really glad it's much better now though!

I still say you need to set aside some extra cash for the new monitor you will be needing in a few months. . .

It's on the computer I use at work. So they should just get me a whole new system since mine's a few years old now. hehe
