Democrat's Cut and Run Policy

Democrat's Cut and Run Policy

The following is the democratic party cut and run position as stated by the leading propaganda preacher of the democratic party.

Some may say that this is only the democratic position on the Iraq war, but I say this is the democratic position on all issues, social security, health care, education, environment, energy policy, etc.

On every issue, the democrats cave to the position of the group that can deliver the most votes, then cut and run so that the issue never gets solved. Spending more money never solves a problem.

Problems are created during democratic administrations, and solved during Republican administrations.

Republicans get criticized for their actions, but the democrats are never criticized for doing nothing and having no policy. The only person that does nothing wrong is the person that does nothing.

I totally believe Walter Cronkite will burn in hell for his actions during the Viet Nam war.

An example of the evil effects of Walter Cronkite's liberal democratic news media policy is the attempt to kill Zawahri. Democrats called for the killing of Bin Laden, but when there is an unsuccessful attempt to kill the second in command the liberal news media is very critical because there were women and children killed. Didn't the liberal news media and democrats know there are always women and children killed in any military action? Why should the Republicans ever attempt anything when they will be criticized if it does not go perfectly?

Democrats are unfit for duty as leaders of government.

Cronkite: U.S. Should Cut-And-Run in Iraq

Former CBS anchor Walter Cronkite, whose 1968 conclusion that the Vietnam War was unwinnable keenly influenced public opinion then, said Sunday he'd say the same thing today about Iraq.

"It's my belief that we should get out now," Cronkite said in a meeting with reporters.

Now 89, the television journalist once known as "the most trusted man in America" has been off the "CBS Evening News" for nearly a quarter-century. He's still a CBS News employee, although he does little for them.

Cronkite said one of his proudest moments came at the end of a 1968 documentary he made following a visit to Vietnam during the Tet offensive. Urged by his boss to briefly set aside his objectivity to give his view of the situation, Cronkite said the war was unwinnable and that the U.S. should exit.

Then-President Lyndon Johnson reportedly told a White House aide after that, "If I've lost Cronkite, I've lost Middle America."

The best time to have made a similar statement about Iraq came after Hurricane Katrina, he said.

"We had an opportunity to say to the world and Iraqis after the hurricane disaster that Mother Nature has not treated us well and we find ourselves missing the amount of money it takes to help these poor people out of their homeless situation and rebuild some of our most important cities in the United States," he said. "Therefore, we are going to have to bring our troops home."

Iraqis should have been told that "our hearts are with you" and that the United States would do all it could to rebuild their country, he said.

"I think we could have been able to retire with honor," he said. "In fact, I think we can retire with honor anyway."

Cronkite has spoken out against the Iraq war in the past, saying in 2004 that Americans weren't any safer because of the invasion.

Cronkite, who is hard of hearing and walks haltingly, jokingly said that "I'm standing by if they want me" to anchor the "CBS Evening News." CBS is still searching for a permanent successor to Dan Rather, who replaced Cronkite in March 1981.

"Twenty-four hours after I told CBS News that I was stepping down at my 65th birthday I was already regretting it and I've regretted it every day since," he said. "It's too good a job for me to have given it up the way that I did."

This again. I've seen this comment so many times, please explain in your own words plainly why.

Yeah, I mean just lob missiles at whoever, so what if it kills some kids? They weren't worth much anyway...

Unless they're americans of course. Then their kids are so valuable that everyone should have them, even if they don't want them.

Ok, first let me say how Christian of you! How christian of you to condemn another person to hell for their political beliefs. You and your radical religious right friends are the reason I will never vote for a republican.

The reps solve the problems the dems start. What? Kinda like how Bill Clinton inherited huge deficits, but left office with record surpluses? And now we have record national debt again. What happened to the republican principal of fiscal responsibility? I guess that went out the window with ethical and responsible government (Jack Abramoff, Tom Delay, Duke Cunnigham etc).

I always find it so hard to believe how christian conservatives are always so eager to kill! I find it impossible to believe Jesus Christ would be 'pro-war' or would applaud the recent airstrike that not only failed to kill its intended target but succeeded in killing many innocents. Killing innocent woman and children, although an all too often result of military action does not have to happen. Thats why the military does collateral damage assessments. Thats why we have a Geneva Convention and the Laws of Armed Combat, to minimize the effects on civilian populations.

IMHO, the religious right conveniently forgets the words of Christ when it comes to love, peace, and understanding. Opting instead to cherry-pick verses from the OT to support their narrow interpretation of scripture. This absolutists philosophy that says 'your not really a christian if you dont believe exactly as I do' bears striking resemblance to the philosophy of the taliban, the mullahs of Iran and the 'virtue police' in Saudi Arabia.

Here is another cut and run article.

Man stabs wife, runs away with children

By Indo-Asian News Service

Shimla, Nov 1 (IANS) A man in a village in Himachal Pradesh stabbed his wife several times and then ran off with their two toddlers, police said.

The incident took place Friday in Kangra district, some 240 km from here.

Media reports said Ishwar got angry with his wife of five years because they had an argument. He attacked her with a kitchen knife, injuring her on the face, stomach and arms. Seeing her wailing and bleeding profusely, he fled the scene with their children.

The police have launched a manhunt for Ishwar.

And here I thought that we Democrats were the legitimate spawn of Satan!

I'd stay to respond, but I need to cut and run to get my car inspected and to get the new registration tag put on it; and then afterwards I need to take a 14 year old girl down to Planned Parenthood to have her abortion (which we haven't told her parents about, of course) and then this evening I'm marrying a gay couple who have been together for 45 years.

Afterwards, I plan to get together with a bunch of other Democrats and plot the overthrow of the free enterprise system and how to hand over the country to Al-Queda (since anyone who doesn't support the President is against him, supports the terrorists, hates freedom and hates America).

Toodles!

Nothing new. The flagship of the liberal media and the mouthpiece of the left wing (which is now the only wing) of the Democratic Party supported Bolsheviks in 1930, defended Alger Hiss and Harry Dexter White, praised and mislead the public about Castro in 1957, maintained Pol Pot would be better for Cambodia than our ally Lon Nol, gushed over Carter's giving away the Panama Canal, lied about Reagan, mocked SDI, opposed the same military programs Senator Kerry voted against (nearly all of them), embraced Soviet expansionism in Central America, ignored over 120 Clinton supporters who took the fifth or fled the country rather than testify under oath before congress about Ng Lap Seng funnelling money from the PRC into the DNC in exchange for ICBM technology and treated the first World Trade Center attack and other bombings as police matters not the acts of war they were. Of course the left wants America to cut and run. It always has and always will.

So THAT'S why I have a red bedspread.

And here I was thinking it was because Texas winter nights can get quite chilly, and I didn't want to die of hypothermia so I bought the only bedspread which matched our decor.

Oh, well: better red than dead.

Yes, many democrats voted for the war, but they are the ones admitting it was a mistake. There are only a handful of republicans who admit the same. It wasn't the democrats who manipulated intelligence and public opinion to justify and unjustifiable invasion. It wasn't the democrats who decided not to supply the troops with armor, which could have prevented 80% of the casualties. No democrat, not even Ben Nelson of Nebraska, the most conservative one, sought to justify torture.
