I posted official sites, with the exception of Anglicans Online, which is independently run by Anglicans.

Anglican/Episcopal: http://anglicansonline.org/
What do Anglicans believe? (Also from Anglicans Online)
www.archbishopofcanterbury.org/ ---official site of the AoC.
http://www.ecusa.anglican.org/ ---official site of the ECUSA.

Southern Baptist Convention: http://www.sbc.net/bfm/default.asp
(The Baptist Faith and Message)
*I grew up Southern Baptist (and went to Baylor), this is the official site and the BF&M is a statement from the SBC.

United Metodist Church: http://www.umc.org/site/c.gjJTJbMUI...dist_Church.htm
http://archives.umc.org/interior.asp?ptid=16&mid=1244

Again, the official site for the UMC.

If you would like to verify the the above with other members, then please do so, but you will only be wasting your time. However, seeing that I have widely studied these and other denominations and religions I know where the official sites are

I also found one for Othodoxy: http://orthodoxyinamerica.org/

Gotta go now I just got my Ninetendo DS with Mario Kart!!!!

You don't need to post, but you can think of this as your personal research area while you decide ...or decide not to decide

I quite agree, there is nothing wrong with the sites. But I still will not post them if they are not requested by someone from that faith. It is not a judgement on the links, or your efforts.

it avoids arguments...I hope!

If anyone feels they are being misrepresented it is worse than not being represented at all.

tall73,

This is a great idea; I suggest you contact a MOD and see about making it a sticky.

Thanks. At this point I am going to wait to see if it even gains critical mass. But it seems to be on its way.

If the mods wanted they could rename it to whatever they wanted, copy the list at some point and make a thread that they would author with the same information just to make editing smoother, make it more official etc.

We will see.

Quick housekeeping item, also noted in the first post now. Sorry for the rules, but it makes it easier.

NOTE: to make the list easier to read, and more uniform give the liinks in the following format:

Church name
Link Link description
Link 2Link2 description

The Salvation Army's Doctrines (that is, what we believe as a church denomination) can be found here. The Salvation Army's position regarding sacraments such as baptism and holy communion can be found here.
