Maddie wrinkled her nose. "That doesnt sound like very much fun." she sighed looking ahead of them and then all around them. "Why are there so many trees here? Are we almost there? Why is it so chilly here?" She looked down at her clothes. "I should have packed my jacket."
"So...we're stuck here then..." Aidan said quietly, not entirely sure she was upset about that fact. "Not that I mind or anything...I love Middle-earth." What I want to know is WHY we were brought here...to help the Fellowship?

Gandalf's eyes went wide with shock and suspiscion at Aidan's mention of the Fellowship. He knew what was to come to pass, atleast in the forming of a fellowship to destroy the Ring. But... the thing was that Lord Elrond and he were supposed to be the only people who knew this! With a wave of the Grey Pilgrim's hand, the latch on the door fell tight and he held his staff fast. "What Fellowship?" he asked calmly. He had to know if these people truly knew of what they spoke, and if so, if they were of the Enemy. If they were... well, he did not have to think for long to know what it would spell for Rivendell and the rest of Arda.
"I enjoy it, most of the time." Gary said non-chalantly. "And yeah, I can see the gates from here! And hey, what's wrong with trees? And the weather here's fine. You should see a New York winter, kid."
"I am not dressed for the weather though, I could get a bloody chill." she sighed. "My mum would not be very happy if she saw me out like this." she looked onward toward the direction they were going. "Is your family in there?"
"No. They're in Chicago, where we ought to be." Gary sighed. "Where's the farthest you've ever been from your home in London, Madeline?" ((SW please))
