Whitney would have gotten lost on the way back to Rivendell if not for one thing: she had the ability to track. Somehow, she spotted her tracks on the ground and was able to follow them easily back to Rivendell. It was amazing! She didn't know how she did it. She arrived in Rivendell elated, screaming, "I'm back! Where is everyone?" as she ran over a small footbridge and into an elven hall.
