Thor wanted to say something really insulting, but his creativity was at a low right then. Smiling at a young elven woman that passed him instead, he was thrilled when she smiled back shyly. Maybe this new look isn't all that bad after all. I mean, that Orlando guy did pull it off, why can't I?

Lili leaned against a post, ready to listen to what Gandalf had to say. She twiddled her thumbs, anxiously waiting to hear wether or not she could get home. Lili silently groanned and slumped into the seat behind her. Oh man, I forgot; Dan lives right next door to mom and dad! Dang it, Lili! Everywhere you go, an ex-boyfriend is waiting to torment you! I wonder if he's survived living next to dad...even if he was one of the nicer ones...she thought in dispair.

Lili really was ashamed of herself. Truth be told, she wondered why she'd been turned into a beautiful creature like an elf when, in her opinion, she needed to be turned into a dwarf. No matter how many times she promised herself that she wouldn't get hooked up with a jerk, the guy she chose always turned out worse than the one before him. Now Lilie had promised herself to never be hooked up with anyone ever again, even though she knew she'd never keep that promise. Lili, you're pathetic. she thought, trying to hold back the tears that had suddenly filled her eyes.

Leah looked around some more. Where was Martini? And isn't what's-his-name - I think it was Thor - gone too? Yes, he was, and so was Gary, but Gary had told everyone has leaving, and Thor and Martini had not. I wonder if something's wrong...

Visorin slipped out carefully so no one will notice him, and started leaning on a nearby wall. No one will want to know where I is, it's not like anyone cares about me.. Visorin thought. His dad taught him a lesson. He was wondering about Tolkien, Middle-Earth, and mostly Sauron. Just a ring that makes you invisible.. Visorin thought, when he started to hear faint crying and someone who was having an argument.
Confused, Visorin followed the sound of voices, when he saw an Elf woman, Thor, and Gary. " 'Ello.. " Visorin said hesitantly, and then looked at the Elf. "Who's she? " he asked, indicating the Elf with his thumb. "And, did any of you guys hear any crying? " he asked. Some reason, his hearing is now much sharper. Guess it's because i'm a Ranger. he thought, and then without waiting for an answer, he walked off and out of Rivendall. (sp? )

Suddenly, as if she'd just realized it, Lili felt someone watching her. Her eye brows furrowed in confussion over suddenly being able to detect it, and that she'd actually known she was being watched the whole time, just hadn't realized it. Confused, she turned and looked in a direction she somehow knew to look and, sure enough, standing in the shadows was a man; his hair reached just above his shoulders and was a light-brown color. His eyes were a deep shade of blue, and he had a definate goatee. Amazed that she had been able to see all of that as if he'd been standing right in front of her, Lili shook her head and looked away.

Whoever that guy is...she thought. Since she knew absolutely nothing about the elves of middle earth, she had no idea that some had the gift of telepathy. As she looked back at Gandalf, for he had begun speaking, a thought popped ino her head, only it wasn't her own tought. My name is Boromir. Lili nearly fell out of her chair. She immediately turned and looked at the man in the shadows. Are you possessed or something? How the heck are you talking to me in my head? she thought, unaware that she was the one doing the talking.

Lili watched as the man began to chuckle. This sure is a first. I've never known an elf to have a sense of humor. You're reading my mind, m'lady. Lili's eyes widened. How was she supposed to know when her thoughts were to herself, or being inserted into someone elses mind? That was one setback of being an elf: no privacy. And thoughts are supposed to as private as private can be, and now mine are being read by some guy who keeps staring at me from the shadows! Great! It took a moment for Lili to realize that nothing was happening. She was more than relieved when she did realize it, though.

Lili shook her head. There was a lot she'd have to learn about this place.

Madeline sobbed as she walked, clinging onto her thin sweater as her skirt blew in the slight wind. "Wilhiam? This isnt funny anymore." she yelled out, looking around each tree to try and find her brother. "I am scared." She leaned against a tree, slowly squatting down to the ground and she started to cry even harder. "Mom and dad are going to yell at you, you are going to be in big trouble mister!" she whispered as she cried into her hands.

Whitney had not followed the others because of a problem with her dogs. Snuggles had begun to limp and whine, and Whitney discovered that her poor chihuahua had a burr stuck in his paw. By the time she managed to extract it, the group had left her. Again. "Oh, they don't care anything for me and my poor babies!" she growled. "Well, I don't need them." She glared at a passing elf who was staring at her curiously. "I'll go back to the spot where I landed in the forest, and maybe if I run into a tree or dig a hole, or...or something, I'll be able to escape this place."

Gathering her dogs, she marched purposefully out of Rivendell. Soon she was back in the forest again, wandering in circles. She had no idea where she had originally landed, but she aimed to find the spot. She carefully inched around the trees and shrubbery, careful not to get any dirt on herself. "Stupid sword gets in the way of everything." she muttered, trying to take her mind off how big and creepy the forest was. Suddenly, she heard yelling in the distance. "Oh, great. Now I have to rescue someone. Let's hope it's not some crazed elf in tights."

Whitney began to run toward the sound of crying. She dashed up a small hill and rounded a huge tree, and saw a girl crouching on the ground, sobbing. "Oh, finally!!" Whitney screeched joyfully, jumping up and down at the sight of the girl. "I'm saved! Someone has come to rescue me at last!" She set Snuggles and Cutie down and began to happily run in circles around Madeline and the tree she was leaning against. "I''m saved!!!"

Now, Visorin started hearing "I'm saved! " over and over. Annoyed at the rythm it made, he marched out of Rivendall. Following the sound, he saw a girl squatted and crying, and some... person.. Oh! It's Whitney! Ha. he thought, and stuck a leg out so when Whitney passed, she would most likely trip. "Be quiet.. " Visorin growled, and then turned his attention to the girl that was crying. Walking over, he aquatted down next to her. "Are you ok? Why are you crying? " he asked calmly and quietly, ignoring Whitney.
"Why are you crying? " he asked again, looking at her gently. He could see the tip of his hood, and made it fall back. Now, he could see his black hair. As he waited for the girl to answer, he looked at the ground, taking a finger and drawing some things in the dirt.

"I dont know where I am." Madeline sniffled, "Or how I got here, or where Wilhiam is." she sobbed, not even looking up at the two new voices. "I am supposed to be at Chigaco, O'Hare Illinios or something, getting on a plane not in a forest." she whispered, her small frame shivering.

"Oh, great!" Whitney exclaimed, exasperated. "So you don't even know how to get home? And how am I supposed to know who Wilhaim is? Look, if you let me help you, I will, but if you don't even get out of the shivering ball, I won't know how to help you." She shook her head, glaring vehemently at Visorin.
