When Crystal mentioned how they couldn't be in Narnia, she turned toward her. "That's what I was saying." she replied, before pausing and asking, "Wait, you don't really think we might be in a fantasy world, do you? It's impossible."

"I think all of us lost our luggage..." Aidan said quietly. "Mine's probably on its way to California by now." And I'm not even on the plane. That'll make my parents worry... When Crystal suggested the possiblity that they were in Middle-Earth, Aidan turned a critical eye to her surroundings. "Why couldn't it be possible?" she asked Leah. "It certainly looks like a forest from Middle-Earth."

"How do YOU know?" Crystal snapped. "I could be a monkey for all you know. My point is, we don't know ANYTHING for sure, so we should keep even the seemingly impossible options open."

Scott was impressed with his sister's use of logic. "She's right," he said. "We have to keep all options open."

"If we are in Middle Earth, then what time period are we in?" The thought of facing Melkor didn't really appeal to her, and Sauron wasn't much better. Though it would be cool to meet the Fellowship...

"I've seen the movies and read the books several times. Middle Earth was a mythical world made up by Tolkien one day when he was grading papers. It's impossible to be transported to a place that isn't real." Dune argued calmly. "You may think whatever you wish, but I think that's as logical as... as green-head over there's belief that it was aliens!"

Whitney had been, as a slight mercy to the others, silent until this point. "Wait...rewind and like, freeze!" She was so surprised that she accidentally dropped both of her dog carriers, and Snuggles and Cutie came rolling out of them. "Oh, my poor b-babies!" she shrieked. "We're stuck in an alternate universe with a bunch of totally unfashionable people. Except," she glanced at Kim, "for you. You seem to be a bit fashion-concious." She nodded and scooped up her two fat chihuahuas.

"Okay, now what were you all saying about this Upper-Earth thing, devised by some wacky writer? You can't possibly think that we are like, inside a book or something." She shuddered visibly. "I hate books. Except for books on chihuahuas, but I don't think there are too many chihuahuas here. Oh, my poor little Snuggles and Cutie!" She hugged the two obese animals even closer, seeming to have forgotten everyone around her.

"We could just be in New Zealand, if you think it looks like somethin' out of those grossly inaccurate Lord of the Rings movies." Gary said, half sarcastically as he stuck his hands in his pockets and glanced around. "'Course, I don't see how wind gets us to New Zealand, Middle Earth, or South Africa, or anywhere else! Thank goodness I'm open minded." he sighed as he paced around back and forth, looking at the ground. "So.. should we explore a bit? Can't hurt. We might atleast find a clue as to where we are. Even if its just native predators."
