Which is the most harmful evironment for a child to be raised in and why, an abusive home (Not like beating with a golf club but the occasional smacking around and getting screamed at) or a supportive and loving home with two fathers/mothers? |

One of the women was artificially inseminated and the couple raised her with just as much love and concern as a heterosexual couple would. She is now married (to a man) and has a child of her own. She's a great mother and her son has two grandmothers who dote on him as any proud grandparents would. She really didn't get teased badly in school. Sure, there were the occasional jabs, but let's face it - kids will be cruel to their peers for any reason they see fit whether it's the style of clothes you wear, if you have freckles, if you wear braces, etc.
Gays and lesbians are also more willing to adopt older children, children of a different ethnicity and children with birth defects or debilitating illnesses. Sexual orientation does not determine how well you would do raising children.
