Well, what he says in the first verses, is that God( he uses the word Word) has always been. Then he says that the Word became flesh(Jesus)

He is not silent. The reason we have the answer is because the infinite-personal God, the full Trinitarian God, has not been silent. He has told us who He is. Couch your concept of inspiration and revelation in these terms, and you will see how it cuts down into the warp and woof of modern thinking. He is not silent. That is the reason we know. It is because He has spoken. What has He told us? Has He told us only about other things? No, He has told us truth about Himself -- and because He has told us truth about Himself -- that He is the infinite-personal, triune God -- we have the answer to existence.

Job, what you notice is that John does the double emphasis also in the first few verses, making sure the point gets across that Jesus is to which all things are made possible, ie God

Well, what he says in the first verses, is that God( he uses the word Word) has always been. Then he says that the Word became flesh(Jesus)
To say the word has always been, means that it is not effected by time. Only matter is effected by time. Energy is not effected by time. Yet energy and matter become joined together as Einstein said: E=MC2.

For the word to become flesh, Jesus became everything the word says that we are to be. We also are called to be living Epistles. We are to be all the word says we can be. It is the Holy Spirit of God in us that accomplishes this.

Some of these qualities are faith, hope, love, mercy, forgiveness, holiness, and all nine fruits of the Holy Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. We are to take on the image of God, we are to become sons of God. We have the mind of Christ, we have all the same attitudes Jesus had, we are to have the divine thoughts and the divine nature of God. This is how the word becomes flesh in our lives, when we do all the word says we are to do, and become all the word of God says we are to become.

This is the new and living way. God begins with our soul, that is eternal, He give us a new heart. He cleanses our conscious. Even though He begins with the part of us that is eternal, it does not end there, still He give life to our body and we can receive all the strength we need.

1 Cor. 15:45  And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Quickening means to give life or they use to use the word virture. People who do not have the quickening spirit or the life force of God at work in them are not saved. Jesus is life, health and healing, so if they do not have Jesus, they do not have the healing power of God at work in them daily. They will just wear out. At least the physical part of them. Then the living part, the soul will return to God for judgement.

Also, the divine Blood of Jesus is eternal. The quickening Spirit uses the divine Blood to cleanse us of anything that is unGodly or unGodlike. But God always gives us more than He washes or cleanses away. We always get more than we give up.

It is like we give up a old wore out pair of clothing, and receive brand new clothing that is a lot more expensive than what we had and the new clothing will never, ever wear out.
