It was especially interesting to notice that the word "word" in Romans 10:17 is not logos, but rhema. I used to think that faith came by the written word, but then saw that it comes by a rhema word.
Ann
Did that come to you by reading it or by rhema?

I am reading:
Refuting Compromise Jonathan Sarfarti
The Message That Works T L Osborn
How to Sharpen Your Discernment (ironically by) Roberts Liardon
The Triumphant Church Kenneth Hagin
Three different books by Yongii Cho (one is called Saved, Healthy and Wealthy and I can't remember the names of the other two... sorry)
There you go.
Hope you are all well and I wish you a merry Christmas,

Neither. Someone told me, and then I looked it up.

Welcome to the forum Zubmeister
I have read several of Cho's books, including the one you mentioned (Which is actually titled Salvation, Healing and Prosperity ) I highly recommend that book to all Word-Faithers.
For some Norvel Hayes stuff, check out his web page: http://www.nhm.cc/default.asp?ID=2

A man after my own heart here
I LOOOOOOVE classic faith teachers like A. J. Gordon, F. J. HUegel, C. H. Spurgeon, E. W. Kenyon and many of the others you mention (and many of those that you did not mention ).
Have you read Huegel's "The Enthroned Christian?" I was just browsing through it the other day.

I have A B Simpson's book "The Normal Christian Life" - excellent.
Anyone a fan of Lillian Yeomans? I have four of her books - wonderful books on healing. I watched a burn disappear just while reading her book on the curse.
Cheers,

Hate to be the "corrector" again, but actually, Watchman Nee wrote "A Normal Christian Life"
I love Watchman Nee. But A. B. Simpson is my favorite all time classic author/teacher. I highly recommend his "Christ In The BIble Commentaries". They are GREAT. This is the only complete commentary on the Bible that I am aware of that comes closest to being a Word-Faith commentary. Originally Posted by Zzub Anyone a fan of Lillian Yeomans? Yeomans? I have all four of her healing books.

I am not a Watchman Nee fan, and have never finished any of his books. Nothing against his teaching, I am not familiar enough to comment, just don't enjoy his style. Lifes too short to keep working at it when there are so many authors I love reading.
