Tell me which version of windows you are using, and if you know if you have net-bios turned on

I am using Windows XP, and I have no idea what "net-bios" are... this a new term?
Please help me seesaw!

and do you have a cable modem or 56k. i will help you get your computer safe its pretty easy.

My husband and I keep all of our small business info on our computer, and I have GOOD reason to believe that someone has been into it.
I did contact the FBI though for possible identity theft....

lol good to know, but thats not why scriptkiddies hack, they do it to use your computer to do stuff, like DoS attacks, and use them to host WAREZ and other illegal stuff.
