Christ is born in Greek/Russian?

Hi there

The lovely Mrs. and I need to know how to say "Christ is Born" in Greek and Russian (or- I suppose Slavonic.) The first person to answer gets all 63 of my blessings

Thanks,
Rdr. Moses and Anonykat

Serbs would say:

Празник Божји, Христос се роди
(Praznik Božji, Hristos se rodi)
Greeting: The Holiday of God, Christ is born.

Ваистину се роди
(Vaistinu se rodi).
Answer: In truth He is born.

modern greek uses an older type of the verb so it goes: Χριστός γεννάται

especially when using it as a greeting.

Hi Moses,

In Arabic:
Al-Maseehu wulida famajjedouh!
(Christ is born, glorify Him!)

In Greek:
Christos Gennatai ! Doxasate!
(Christ is born! Give glory!)

or

Christos etexthi! Alithos etexthi!
(Christ has been born! He has truly been born!)

In Russian:
Kristos rozhdaetsya! Slav'te ego!
(Christ is born! He is, truly!)

In Serbian:
Hristos se Rodi! Voistinu se Rodi!
(Christ is born! Indeed He is Born!)

In Slavonic:
Christos razhdayetsya! Slavite yoho!
(Christ is born! Glorify Him!)

Many years,

Neil
