Observation about Jesus, speaking, and faith

Can you think of anything that Jesus said that did not come to pass?
We all know the story of the fig tree where Jesus seemed to non-chalauntly curse it because it should have had fruit and it had none. Next day it was firewood.

Did everything Jesus say come to pass... either immediately or shortly thereafter?

Consider this:
1. Every word Jesus spoke came from His spirit.
2. He believed everything He said.
3. He taught that if you believe something and say it, then it comes to pass (hence the firewood).

Can you show me other instances of what seemed to be "off the wall" comments and statements by the Lord.... and what happened or did not happen as a result.

Calling the scribes and pharisees assorted things comes to mind. Did these pronouncements actually further blind them and destroy their ability to see who and what He was? Did the things He say about other people places and things effect a change in them also?

Examples?

Luk 8:10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

I've always wondered about this verse. It's still happening, Not just concerning the Pharasees, it seems fulfillment is ongoing in this scripture.

lolz--When Jesus says "Unto you it is given"--He is talking to us as believer's. God will show us what the world does not know, that we, as gentiles, are inheritor's with the Hebrews. That is the mystery of Heaven

As for the second part--The parables spoken is the Word. And as Jesus is speaking, He is sowing seed--Now that seed can get deep down on the inside of us, or the enemy can take it before it has a chance to grow.

We are in charge of obtaining understanding--So that we can protect that seed so that it can grow. We can ask God for understanding and it will be given to us! I believe Jesus said it this way so that if ppl don't understand--They'll want to and they'll ask questions so that they can learn.

But in all actuality--The Word of God does not return void, so through everything you speak--Plants seed. And this Word Jesus spoke--Planted seed
