He's a hurtin' unit and needs love and understanding...who knows just what impact you are having on him. No doubt it's tough but God will reward and bless you for your ministry to this gentleman. Pray before you go and let Gods love and light shine through you asking God to comfort him and give you the patience to hang in there.
God bless you for your service to others |

Our state has ititiated this grand daunting plan which is supposed to allow them to phase out all Medicaid within five years, but as they cut back, replacing older state agencies which "cheaper" ones, these new fail entirely, for weks or months, so, at this time, I have no Medicaid coverage whatsoever.
I know there are plenty of times when I've been a real pain in my home help aid's neither regions, but was clearly too much for her to have to come to my home and be the one to tell me that she couldn't work for me any longer because Medicaid isn't paying the agency for which she works.
She knows just how worried everyone should be about me right now, and I feel sure she's very worried indeed, and I think that's wrong; too much to be asked of her, and the bad part is that I wasn't the one who wronged her, I can't make it right, nor can I keep her in the dark as I'm doing with others.

In my Prayers,
Puma
Puma, I haven't attended my church in years. My church isn't well-to-do enough to maintain an office staff and only about a month ago did it occur to me that I could try calling the District Superintendent's secretary. *smacks forehead*
My situation is a bit complex, though. I discovered years ago that I could apply for considerable help from my denomination, but only by deeply embarrassing my elderly uncle, who is deservedly quite prominent in this conference, and, I suspect, beyond.
Indeed, my uncle set up a state-approved trust fund and has contributed twice to it. However, the wholesale failure of my state's Medicaid program has created a situation which would wipe out my trust fund in a single month, and, frankly, if possible, I would rather my uncle not know: he's 90 years old, Puma! He's a good caregiver and I don't want to distress him!
Still, I would very much love to attend my church; that would help a great deal, just in itself, so I thank you for reminding me I do have a way to contact my pastor! oh, and have you seen my checkbook around, by any chance?

Our prayers are for your needs (all of them) to be meet.
Ask God to show you what He would have you do and trust Him for the rest.
Seek and you shall find. If we know how to give good things to each other and/or our childern, how much more does God want to give you good things. You have not because you ask not (crass assumtion on my part-I'm sure you've prayed about this more times than your care to remember )...so ask...Him and others and those hearts God moves on in your behalf will be blessed as much if not more than you.
God is bigger than any problem or Govt beaurocracy we can face.
God Bless
Ps-Plz know I don't take lightly what your are going through and that I will pray for you. | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
