We have learned a lot! Can I suggest the challenge to explain the cells origin is getting harder, the more we learn. The complexity and intricasy clearly points to an Intelligent Designer, to God the Creator, if you are prepared to accept this possibility.
Whether neo-Darwinists are prepared to meet their Maker or not is beside the point since Micheal Behe has recently shown the scientific impossibilty of bacteria randomly assembling and organizing genetically into a living cell by archaic 19th Century neo-Darwinist theories of "natural selection."
No more neo-Darwinist Homo sapiens! They are just a figment of their own imagination.

completely irrelevant, since no one is claiming that the first cells formed randomly.

That's an obvious lie since neo-Darwinist race theorists claim that the first human cells randomly formed (mutated) out of the cells of common ancestors of non-human African monkeys and apes, and that primate cells randomly formed out of mammalian cells etc., and that no cells were intelligently designed but 'naturally selected' in accordance with evolutionist theorizing.
So describe cellular evolution from bacteria for us.
Uh oh. My atheist spidey-sense is tingling. Someone must be angling for a god of the gaps argument.
